Team Salvation finished the spring season, probably higher then most expected. How do you think they'll fair against the stiffer competition of winter league?
I think we will have a better team in the fall then (we did) in the spring. We will be a strong competitor for first place.
Will Team Salvation be able to defeat Time Trac?
dThey may not even have a winter team. but if they do, I think our team has a great chance of beating them. The possible off-season pickups give us a huge advatnage.
You met Mario Lemieux how significant was that and will it ever be exceeded?
jIt was really awesome to meet the best hockey player to ever play. A guy i grew up watching since I was a kid. Will it be topped? I hope so. (There's) a lot of ?NHLer's I'd like to meet. Would be nice to see Mario again and actually be able to speak to him.
Will Mario return to the NHL or do you think he's finally done?
I reall don't know. Sounds as if he won't come back. But if he does, there really isn't much he can do. When he was younger he could make no name guys into goal scorers. He's not 25 anymore. He needs atleast a couple of talented players to play with.
What was the biggest adjustment when mvoing from Penn?
I was in 7th grade, it was hard to make friends and go to a new school at first. I met most of my friends through hockey.
What are Voj's big plans for this summer?
HGoing to PA again in July, possibly. Going to Cedar Pointe on the 30th of this month. I want to go there atleast one other time. I want to see a couple of concerts, White Stripes (in Detroit) and Radiohead (in Toronto).
What bothers you more, playing take-backs or posts?
Playing posts bother me more. Some can argue it takes more skill(to hit a post). In a way, it does. I'd rather play take back because the thrill of scoreing a nice goal on a goalie is more rewarding then hitting a post.
How did you meet Gonzo?
Last summer in Marysville playing roller hockey.
