It's said too frequently
without thought.

can't possible hold a candle
to how I feel.
If there was
one phrase
or word
or morpheme
I could create
to fill the void of
"I'm sorry"
I would make it deeper
than any cavern
or abyss that
"I'm sorry"
tries to fill.
Even still-
and for lack of a better,
less raped
and misused
phrase of sentiment...
more than starlight
to the setting sun...
I'm sorry.
