| I Fell Apart | ||||||||||
| Fate is cruel or has a sick sense of humor. It braught us together just to send us apart. Now all the gears that used to fit us slip and clack and grind. I don't remember how or when I fell apart on you. But I know I let you down. So now I'm pessimistic and optimistic at the same time. The glass is half empty because I drank the other two fourths without regard to your thirst. I'm the cause of this ache in us both. It won't stop and I can't make it. But with time comes slow slow relief. So they say, life goes on. All I want to do is go back. |
