| They married at Hope Memorial on that day I wonder if her Papa gave her away Nana kept house, and was always clean She didn't know how to be nasty nor mean Gramps was her sweetheart all of her life He sure did love and honor his wife Not much money did they have for a home Yet, Nana knew she was never alone |

| Two little baby girls, one right after the other The oldest one turned out to be my Mother Aunt Flossie was the devilish one, straight from the yoke Betrween her and Nana there was always a joke Nana went first to that Golden Gate I could hear her say, "Edgar, don't be late" Now they're together and I wonder what she'll do I can bet she's saying, "Sweetie, we still love you" |
