| There are many stairways for me to climb Some I get help; others are all mine I've had help from people I do not know They're always around when I'm on the go Not too long ago I was told I will be Changing my lifestyle, unbeknowst to me Once I loved to walk and dance Now I go on knowing I once had the chance I'm glad for the things I have done Making a difference and being one Receiving gifts from God abave Giving my heart that's filled with love I hope you get every chance To live you life, be happy and dance Being God's child, seeing all you can see Praying your life is a part of me It's said that ye shall seek and find Putting all you can be into mind Always giving others a helping hand Listen to them, and try to understand Try to walk a mile in their boots Give your love, and laugh at hoots Don't by shy, show what's in your heart Then, my friend, you've done your part Knowing I have so much still to do I sure love spending my time with you Knowing that I've made a friend today We'll always be together come what may Now I have another stairway to climb This time it's not only mine We'll walk up to those that we greet Spreading our love with all we meet |
