| Falling asleep to hear The Silence within Wondering where to go and Thinking where did it begin Remember the days That have been in her life Looking back to yesterdays Taking all in strife Now as she grows old Her Mind remembers not Looking at photographs of Those that she's forgot Two young men come to visit her Each and every day Knowing she doesn't see them She simply looks away Doctors and nurses surround her Wondering what goes through her mind She speaks no words to them Yet knowing they are so kind She recalls of being married To a man she loved so much She hears his voice in the Silence Within She feels his love so strongly and his gentle touch |
