to see inside the planes and see how they work. We also went into the hangar and saw some planes that were being fixed. We all wanted to go on a flight, but the clouds were too low. Finally, it was sunny and we could go up in the airplane. I got to sit next to the pilot and my two friends sat in the back. The flight was awesome! It was a little bumpy but we didn't care. We saw Lake Nockamixon and a sailboat in the middle. I had a lot of fun and I'm sure I'll never forget that day.
     I did lots of other cool things this month. I started chess club at the library and I'm in the Webelos Den for Cub Scouts. We are getting ready for an overnight campout. I'm also a teacher's assistant for a preschool dance class at Broadway Dance Academy where I am starting my seventh year! My mom is the teacher and my sister, Gabrielle, is one of the kids in the preschool class.  I am taking Tap and Jazz classes this year.
     I've been on a field trip to Jacobsburg State Park where we watched birds for a while. Then we hiked to Bushkill Creek and went in to find rocks at the bottom. I found a lot of small pieces of slate. While we were in the creek a college class came to collect animal samples from the water. They said that the creek was very healthy. I had a lot of fun that day.
     I am now studying French because we are hoping to go to France next summer!!  I am learning French from a CD and my mom also speaks French to us. So far I'm having a lot of fun learning how to speak French.
     In homeschool I've also been studying geometry, the regions of the U.S. and weather. I've got some cool links below for math and weather.

    Gabrielle is really enjoying learning to speak French. She especially loves singing songs in French. Her favorite is the counting song. She learned how to count to ten in French and she counts things all over the house in French. Gabrielle is still doing swimming class and wants to swim in the deep end, but the teacher said she has to learn to kick a little better.
