| It is extremely important that you assemble your pvc launcher right. This should be done in normal temperatures (common sense). Don't try to glue together pvc thats extremely hot or extremely cold. | ||||||||||||||||
| PVC pieces are like legos, make sure the pieces fit together well, otherwise you'll have problems. | ||||||||||||||||
| It's very simple, you need pvc primer and cement. When applying the primer make sure you apply enough with the brush so that the glossy coating on the pieces comes COMPLETLY off. Then apply primer to each part of the pipe/pieces that will be glued together. Apply glue on any parts of the pieces that will be together. Don't put on to much glue, because this will only make the area weaker. Then you take your pieces/pipes and stick one into the other and hold them togther hard for at least 30 seconds. A cemented area will actually be the strongest part of the launcher once it fully cures. | ||||||||||||||||
| USE ONLY SCHEDULE 40 GRADE PVC!!! | ||||||||||||||||
| Once this is completed we allow the cemented areas to cure for at least 24 hours. If you fire the launcher will it is curing, the cemented areas may fail in the future. Oh yeah and be careful, the fumes from the cement tend to build up in th launcher, so don't try to test your ignition system. | ||||||||||||||||
