So I looked through a few others earlier on and found they same spell. It turns out that if the people that respond have feeling for you, the spell is broken but there feelings are reveiled to them. and they act on them.
"Who responded willow" this was Anya, and she had a pretty good idea who willow desired but she needed to confirm it.
"Umm, Spike,"
"WHAT!!!!!" shouted the slayer
"umm, and Angel"
"WHAT!!!!" that was the slayer and Xander
"I`ll kill them, both of them."
"No buffy you wont, I love them. We ended up sleeping together, and we,umm bit each other just after..."
Willow was struggling and the two vampires stood outside could tell it, so they decided to intervein.
They strode in and Spike spoke up
"Listen slayer, We are bonded together, peaches, red and me"
Buffy went to get a stake but willow was quicker

and with that they couldnt move, none of them sat infront of willow, could move.
"Let me up wills, Im gonna stake `em"

Giles who had stayed quiet up until then spoke up
"Buffy shes telling the truth.If they bit each other while makeing love, they are mated, and theres not a thing we can do about it. Now i suggest if you, any of you want to keep her as a friend you will except this and move on"

This was his best friend telling them that she was with two master vampires, and for some reason, if they made her happy, then he was happy.
"Wills, Umm, are you happy, I mean with dead boy and dead boy jr?"
"Yeah Xand, Im happy, You wouldnt beleive how happy"
"I... I think I can tell, you know from the cheesy grin you`ve got on your face, and the glowyness of you."
"So are you happy for me, or am I going to have to turn you into a rat to let you up?"
"Nope, Im good wills, I promise not to introduce mister pointy to their chests"
