She sat in the bathroom on the edge of the tub, takeing deep breaths and waiting for Angel to come in, it took him a while and so her mind started to wander...
*Goddess what did I do to deserve this, I must have done something trueful awful to have Oz turn on me like that*...
She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didnt notice the dark vampire enter the room and start to fill the basin with hot bubbleing water and pick up the sponge to start soaking away the blood that had dried on her skin , and the blood that was still oozing from the gash on her breast..
Once she had snapped out of her self beration she felt the crimson color of embarresment spread across her face again...
"DON`T, dont do that, dont blush you have nothing to be ashamed of, If anything the wolf should be being beaten a bloody pulp..you shouldnt be blushing pet, you`ve done nothing wrong!"..
As Angels harsh words snapped her out of the silence she had taken , one fat glistening tear rolled down her bruised cheek and she started to shake as what had happened truely hit her full in the face...
"A...Angel..Oh goddess what have i done...I must have asked for this is some way...I deserved..I must have done why else would he have tried to..tried to...do what he did to me.....?"
Angel was almost in tears himself, his eyes hurt from the unshed droplets..*how could she think that, look at her, shes so helpless what could she possibly have done to deserve such treatment*
Out loud he said.."Wills,listen to me..Listen, You did not ask for this, you did not ask to be beaten and bruised and asaulted by the one person you trusted most"..
"No?...then why did he do it? why did i end up haveing to run from my own home to get away from him................?"
she drifted off..
Angel dispaired...what could he say to the redhead to convince her this wasn`t her fault......?
"willow"
Angel cupped her face in his large caloused hands, looking straight into her peircing emerald eyes he said,...
"He will never hurt you again, I wont allow it to happen again, at some point he will probably realise what he`s done and how stupid he was, and when he does if he comes within fifty feet of you I will kill him...you are not going back to him you are staying here with me until we know its safe at your house....Its not a threat,Its not me being macho, Its a promise...if he ever touches you again i WILL kill him..."
even as Angel said those cruel words she knew he meant them from the bottom of his soul...and she wasnt sure if she was releived or afraid...Oz had been her life for a year now and she didnt know if she could give that up even if it meant going back to a man who she thought might hit her again....
She chose not to share that with Angel...she didnt want to worry him....she just nodded and started to drift off to sleep in his embrace...
Angel grabbed a towel and wrapped willows broken body in it...carrying her to his room he placed her under the covers and gently lowered her head to the pillows...she was already asleep............he sat and watched her for hours until finally it was nearing dawn and he needed to get some sleep of his own...so he went to the guest room and slept fitfully for a few hours.......
Willow rose from the bed at just after 11am...acheing all over and needing to stretch she got out of bed, went to the bathroom and retrieved her borrowed clothes and checked her appearence in the mirror..*Ive seen better,but hey under the circomstances i look like may queen*....
Willow sat on the couch and thought to herslf about her situation..she needed to see Oz...no matter what he had done he was her boyfriend and she needed to sort this out...maybe she could try again with him.....She knew Angel would disaprove so she left swiftly before he could awaken...leaveing him a note and hopeing he would understand...
Walking towards her house, Oz stepped out of the shadow of an alleyway, he grabbed her arm and was cutting off the circulation when he siad..
"Im sorry Willow..I was wrong to do what i did...I just lost my cool Ive been waiting for so long now that i just had to have you...I wanted to take you right there...I promise i will never do it again..I swear.......please beleive me...."
As she heard the words a flicker of hope registered deep in her heart and she hugged Oz tightly and said..
"thats...Oh...I cant make any promises ...we need to talk"
