| Stephen's Testimony - Hey I'm sorta pressed for time so I'm gonna have to make this breif. First I would like to basically start off by saying "GOD IS COOL!" A famed quote from my friend Randy. Lemme say this...if you don't have Jesus in your heart you need Him A.S.A.P.. Life will become awesome for you. But maybe we can go into further depth with that later on. I'm gonna start with my childhood in saying that fortunately I have been raised by loving parents in a nice 50's style Christian Houshold. I was a serious skeptic all through my childhood and adolecence not 100% accepting the truths and ideals of the Christian faith. Yes, I did accept Jesus into my heart at age 8 but I never really was "on fire for Christ." I never opened the Bible, grumbled when we would go to Church on Sunday's and so on and so forth. It wasn't until I decided to visit Randy's church when I finally found the wonderful relaitonship w/ Jesus Christ that I in fact had been longing all along but denyed it. During my rebellious early teen years I had got into some pretty bad lifestyle habits that I finally realized that needed to be destroyed and thrown out of my life. This process began the change of the easy flat road of the world to the rocky uphill road of Christianity. Yes, the Christian faith takes work but its like a girlfriend, you have to work at it but the benifits far outway that little bit of work. Even I had made the big jump of faith in my life, getting the junk out of my life wasn't so quick and easy. I still fell along the path but my Savior was always there to pick me straight back up and love me just the same. I learned to love others because He first loved us. Jesus died on the Cross that day out of Love for me!! So I could be free from the bondage of SIN!!!! Its truely amazing to think about but I have no doubts that He is there...I can feel His comfort and presence in my life all the time. Living the life of a faithful servant is not only more beneficial than the life of the world but also its much more gratifying. There's always this ever-present JOY that dwells in me. I realize GOD has blessed me in ways I can't even realize. I have the greatest family, the best group of friends ever who all love Jesus just as much as me.
