Howdy everyone! How is everything going? Everything here is just fine. Again I say if you want to do a devotional please get in touch with me within the next 2 weeks. Within the next or so the praise band I am in will have a website up and going. I will be sending everyone that website address. Also we will be making a demo or so by fall. So let's get started on that devotion. This week's is going to be on decisions.
Should our decisions be to what God wants?
Romans 14:8
8. If we live, we are living for the Lord, and if we die, we are dying for the Lord. So living or dying, we belong to the Lord.
Yes, our decisions should be to what the God wants. You have to remember when you became a Christian you gave your life to Christ. So this means that the decisions you make have to fit with His plans. Remember that God loves you so much. He went to extreme measures to establish a friendship with you. He gave his only son. So whatever you do, do it for Him, remembering how much He loves you.
What helps us make decisions?
Psalm 119:105
105. Your word is like a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.
This verse tells us that God helps us with our decisions. All we have to do is pray to Him and ask Him to help us make the right decisions. I know a lot of people are traveling for spring break. I pray for your traveling mercies and decisions. Before you go on your trip please pray about the decisions you are going to be making when you get to your destination. When you make decisions remember don't make decisions that you want but make decisions what Jesus would do.
He promises to have a plan for you.
Ephesians 2:10
10. God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.
God works in mysterious ways. He has a plan for each and every single person on earth. But to follow his plan for you it takes a commitment from you. You don't just accidentally fulfill what he's planned for you to do. You've got to seek God and ask him to reveal his plan to you and to give you understanding about how to fulfill it.
Well I hope you have liked this devotional. When the praise band website is up I will the devotionals on there as well. In the next few months it is going to be exciting for the praise band I am in and as well as everyone else. When you are trying to find out what you want to do with your life, stop and pray about what it is God has planned for you to do, because in the end it will all work out in His way. Do not try to run either. God has accepted you with arms wide open, now it is your turn to receive his plan for you with arms wide open.
Again I say I am praying for everyone that is traveling and I hope everyone has a safe and fun SPRING BREAK! I know I am going to take spring break to catch up on some sleep. Well I am going to get going! Love you all and God Bless!
In Christ,
Dennis Monsewicz Jr.
