The guys (Brad, Matt, Todd, and Chris) walked out of the buliding one day, and saw a old billboard with many missing numbers and letters, and the words spelt "Doors Down" and guess what....they liked it since there were 3 members at the time! They decided to take up the name and boom! They've been around ever since!
The guys started out playing local clubs, and Brad would not only do the vocals, but drum as well! This was catchy and word of mouth got around about this kickass band, and one night, the right person heard them, and it all started from there! The record company decided that Brad should be solely the frontman, and hired a new drummer, Richard Liles. He went stayed with the band for a period of time, and then was released. After recording "Away From The Sun" a brand new drummer was brought in!!! The incrediblely talented (and not too shabby looking girls!) Daniel Adair!! He is now with the guys, and although not a "offical member" of the band, still a part of the 3DD family! He is constantly chating with the fans on the message boards, and e-mailing some. His screen name on the boards is "da" and Chris's is "SameRoad". Brad has posted once, and i belive his SN is "BKA@3dd" but i really cant remember!
