| Daniel Adair Interview (July 28, 2003) 1) Did you play any sports as a child?[Daniel Adair] Other than a few gym type thingsat school, absolutely none! It was never in my family and I never had a interest. 2) What's your favorite 3DD quote from: ~The Better Life-[Daniel Adair] This will fall away. ~AFTS-[Daniel Adair] I'm over this, I'm tired of living in the dark, can anyone see me down here? 3) What's the craziest thing a fan has asked you?[Daniel Adair] "Can I have your necklace? You have lots of money." 4) What's the most insaine thing you've ever done?[Daniel Adair] Jumped off the side of a van traveling 30 mph onto a gravel road holding a beer. 5) Has a fan ever done something to distract you or any of the guys on stage?[Daniel Adair] In Milwaukee (sp?) a bra flew up on stage, and it was the biggest thing I've seen in my entire life!! We were all distracted! 6) Would you ever dye your hair a crazy color?[Daniel Adair] Yup, Im up to try it! 7) What's the most monumental experience in your life?[Daniel Adair] The comnined experiences I've had with 3 Doors Down. Basically overnight going from playing in clubs and pubs to playing the Leno and Letterman and standing on the Eiffel tower thinking how crazy it all is! 8) What was the worst job you ever had?[Daniel Adair] I did some basic carpentry work for some dude who was a psycho biker drunk idiot for 3 weeks. I got up at 5 everyday to pick him up for work, and in the end I never got paid! 2nd worse was cutting glass in a big factory. 9) What was your favorite toy as a child?[Daniel Adair] Transformers! Probably Soundwave or Optimus Prime. 10) What was your favorite show or movie as a child?[Daniel Adair] 10,000 leagues under the sea. 11) What's your quirkiest habit?[Daniel Adair] If I'm fidgeting with my fingers I have to rub my thumb and my finger up, down, left, right, diagonal and back, then the other side diagonal and back. Quirky enough? :) 12) If you had the ability to go back in time, what era would you like to live in and why?[Daniel Adair] I'd go back to the 1920-1940 era, because musically, so much evolution was taking place, it was a exciting time for music as jazz and blues were formed, and there were so many great musicians. Above all, it was before teh video age, and it was about the MUSIC. 13) Whats the funniest thing you've seen on this tour? [Daniel Adair] Todd and I dried some clothes, and we put way too much stuff in the dryer at a time, and when we took them out, our jeans were twisted up so much that they looked like mops! More... |
