Miguel Martinez going up the short, steep climb near the finish area on the next to last lap. Note that he isn't using V-brakes but regular cantilevers.

Tinker Juarez on the same climb on the next to last lap. He's muddier than Little Mig because he crashed on the rocky descent that leads to the Disco Flyover. Notice that he's using a disc brake.

Unfortunately, this picture doesn't really do justice as to how muddy I really was after getting wupped in the Sport race on Friday. You can tell that my legs and the bike are pretty well coated with mud. My rear v-brake pads wore down so much in the mud that I basically had no rear brake for the last lap and a half. It's hard to tell, but the bike is a blue 1998 Gary Fisher Big Sur. Yep, Genesis Geometry is awesome. Still haven't gotten all the mud out of my jersey.
