After I left home to go to university, I never lost my love and desire to have my own Golden Retrievers. So when I got engaged in May of 1996 I began to plan. What a perfect way to start a marriage...with a Golden puppy!!! So sure enough, our honeymoon to Colorado in September of 1996 also turned into a search for a puppy.
"Mountain" Cheyenne was the little girl that we brought home and there isn't a day that she doesn't bring a smile to our faces. |

Cheyenne has a great retrieving instinct and retrieved her first partridge for my dad when she was only 10 weeks old. She still flushes up birds on almost every walk in the forest that we take. |

Cheyenne has her CD and was the first dog that I ever titled. I am a school teacher and Cheyenne comes to class every year where she is a big hit with the students. Cheyenne is also trained in agility.
Cheyenne is now a beautiful 10 year old. She has a striking red coat and a wonderful personality that has been the reason many people have chosen one of our puppies to become new members of their family. She holds a special place in our hearts for helping us get started in this exciting world of dogs. |
