| When you were little, did you think that when you grew up, you'd have to struggle, just to survive? And now, as an adult, do you still feel this way? Do you want YOUR child to grow up believing that he will share this same fate? Do you not realize that BELIEVING this will make it so? Did you ever stop to think that this is what happened to YOU? Do you not understand that you were TAUGHT to think this way? You want the best for your child. But how can you instill in him a belief that although life is challenging, it is FULL and abundant? (Especially if you, yourself, don't believe it!) Easy! You begin to LIVE it! (So that you CAN believe it!) Now you're laughing. (Or crying) And saying, "But how?" This is easy too. The first step: If you have been visualizing your life as one of hardship & meaningless drudgery. . . STOP IT!. (Even if your life IS one of hardship & meaningless drudgery . . .Stop!) Break your habit of dwelling on what you DON'T have, or what you DON'T like, about your life. (This is negative reinforcement.) The second step: Replace this BAD habit with a GOOD habit. CATCH YOURSELF! Every time you hold a thought regarding something you DON'T like. . DROP it! And at the very instant, force yourself to pick up a thought reagarding something you DO like! . . or better yet . . . something you WOULD like! The third step: Now you must indulge yourself. Take a deep breath, & concentrate. Let yourself imagine that "something" in your life is growing stronger, bigger and better. This is positive reinforcement! Positive reinforcement, coupled with creativity, and mixed with desire, is a potent combination. In fact, it is POWER!! The fourth step: Brace yourself for changes. (Some will be more challenging than others.) The fifth step: Don't pull away from them. You ARE ready! Let them happen, and your life will EVOLVE. The last step: Radiate! Share the wealth! Share the success! Your child is watching you . . . and walking with you . . . every step of the way. Show him that life is full of exciting challenges that lead to an abundance of all the things that matter. (Because that's the way it's going to be!) |
