December 2008 - We are extremely excited to announce
the purchase of Hideaway Farm Insignia
(Dassefa x Shamara Bay)  from Michelle and Jason
Hodgins from  Chelleason Arabians in Queensland.
This mare is a truly outstanding broodmare and we cant
wait to breed her to Chelleason Jullyani in 2009/10, as
the resulting foal will be a 3/4 sibling to our exquisite
Ahnshahn Jullyanna!

Arabil Phoenix has foaled a stunning filly, we couldnt
have wished for more! We have named her

North Island Champs, Auckland.  We only took our derivative boy GS Dava'aron as it is such a long trip for youngsters, he performed beaufifully in the ridden classes, gaining champion ridden Gelding and Reserve Champion Paced and Mannered Derivative, he didnt put a foot wrong, we were so proud of him!

October 2008 -
Montabella (tb) foaled a beautiful filly by Sa'arfari, this girl is nearly identical to her full brother Sebastia'arn, she is big bold and extremely beautiful,  she will be a superb show horse especially in the open ring.

July 2008 -
We made the tough decision to sell our exquisite Willowvale Exquisite to the Skinner family, she was initially only on lease but as they love her so much and we know what a wonderful home the decision was made.
We have also had the tough decision to have Mulawa Chantilly Lace put to sleep due to a chronic lameness, this mare gave us two colts but luckily her last foal was a glorious filly, unfortunately not owned by us but we hope to use her in the future as a broodmare

.April 2008 -
NZAHBS AGM and Stud Tour, this was held in the Taranaki Region and it was a fantastic weekend of catching up with people and the weather played its part by staying fine for the stud tour!  We had on show our precious GS Sebastia'arn, GS Dava'aron, GS Na'arilah, Willowvale Sa'arfari, Ahnshahn Jullyanna and Chelleason Jullyani.  They all performed exceptionally for the large crowd - snorting and tails flagged, showing what they are all about.  It was Jullyani's first public appearance in NZ and we couldnt have asked for more, he showed what a true man he is - the power in his movement, his glorious type and attitude, it was an awesome moment! And the amount of wonderful comments from the crowd certainly was overwhelming.  We look forward to the coming show season to get him out and about.

We had a  visit on the monday after the show from the judge Mieke Bigg and her daughter Alana from Australia.  They are such lovely people it was great to sit and talk horses all day long!!  We introduced them to the new boy Jullyani and with fabulous comments about him we can't wait to get him out and about!

7 - Golden Shelter Davaaron has now grown 2.5cm in the last year which now means he competes against the big boys in the large hack classes - but we are sure up for the challenge!!! At the Wanganui A & P show he gained 3rd in the Unity Class (we were EXTREMELY proud of this), 1st in his open hack class, 4th Ladies hack and 2nd in open rider.  A great start to the season!
Stratford A & P Show - His first arab class for the season and he took out Champion Derivative inhand so then it was off to the Open Hack ring where he performed extremely well, with lots of fantastic comments from spectators - and these latest two shows both judges asking if he was a warmblood!!! Needless to say I was very proud to say he was actually anglo arabian.  He gained 2nd in the paced and mannered and then went on to be Reserve Champion Paced and Mannered Exhibit.

July 2007 - Chelleason  Jullyani and Ahnshahn Jullyani arrived from Australia, they are even more beautiful than we remembered!

May 2007 -
Chelleason Jullyani competed at his first show - the Arabian Gala Show in Queensland where he won his weanling colt class and went on to become Reserve Champion Weanling - Champion going to his outstanding sister Chelleason Windfortune.  Then on to the Queensland Challenge Show where Jullyani again won his colt class and then went up against the yearling colts to take out Reserve Champion Junior Colt, Champion going to the extremely well performed Crave FF.  On our visit to Australia, and to see Jullyani we fell in love with his sister Ahnshahn Jullyanna (Gai El Jullyen USA x Hideaway Farm Insignia) and decided she too had to come home to NZ!  At her first show, the Queensland Challenge she behaved like a dream and took home Top Five Weanling Filly.

Dassefa
February 2009 - National Show. It was going to be the first outing of our boy Jullyani but unfortunately it was not to be as he was not 100% so we scratched him from his class, very disappointing but he will have his day another time, we were overwhelmed with the awesome comments about him.  Our beautiful filly Ahnshahn Jullyanna showed her socks off in the pouring rain and brought home the National Reserve Champion 2-3yrs Filly, we were absolutely rapt with this result! Roll on next season where hopefully we will get Jullyani to his first NZ Show!!! Fingers crossed!
