Romeo is a rare son and foal by the elite IGS stallion GS Ultimate Challenge and the only ever son out of Djerba's Excile. Romeo is the second to last foal Spirit [Djerba's Excile] will ever foal, Killer Instinct at Avalon Racers being the last. Romeo is just as his name suggests, he is a charasmatic italian stud to the core. He can and does make anyone and everyone fall in love with him. All he needs is a few minutes and he's stolen your heart. He was first named Imperial, which was very apt for him but to us just didn't seem right, and then his name came to us! Forbidden Love. At the time of the renaming, 21st July 2008, we knew we weren't like by 'some' people and we knew no one could resist this boy - he is irresistable!!!!!!!!! - so his right name just sprang at us. Forbidden Love. You can't help but love him, but 'some' know they really shouldn't and will deny it. Very awesome, no? His barn name also changed from Leon [since we have a Leon and its like his sire's barn name anyway] to Romeo. Romeo has even noticed a difference really, he knows what his name is, and he knows when you want him so it just doesn't phase him. Infact nothing does, and this boy has so much raw talent that it just blows you away. This boy is extremely flashy, very refined, very powerful thoroughbred with a muscular back end that just adds to his talent for eventing especially over the jumps. With his thoroughbred breeding, and the fact both his dam and his sire's sire and dam are top notch flat racers Romeo was built for speed! He has bucket loads of it, and can take a jump at a wrong angle, in a storm, in thick mud, with the rider having lost both reins and stirrups and still do it as if everything was perfectly right and the sun was shining. He is that incredible! This boy just flies, and is a horse you have to watch!
