Duchess is SIM royalty. She is also a wired coil ready to spring. As you can see from her photo she is completely full of firey energy that can release at any moment. She has so much energy and doesn't know what to do with it. She acts a lot like a thoroughbred, always preferring to be out in her paddock and when she is she is running up and down the paddock for ages non-stop until she wears herself out. Then she lays under a large tree and goes to sleep before her next meal comes, then she'll eat and run all over again. She is always the one in the barn whinnying the loudest and barging against the stall door or paddock gate when it comes to breakfast and evening feeds. Once she has let all her energy out though she is a rather docile mare, and she really is willing to work. She is always the first to jump from the starting line and is very fast doing so. She has tremendous ability, sired by the All-SIM Grand Prix stallion Lord Of The Jumps out of our Champion mare Hailey's Comet. Coincidently, Duchess is Hailey's last ever foal, and in that Duchess is very special. We expect Duchess to calm down and mature over the years, for now she is a high spirited mare, and we love her all the more for it.
