Al-Shama was born months before *Sensational tragically died at the hands of the thoroughbred stallion Diesal. Al-Shama was one of the three mares *Sensational sired before his untimely death, and Akmal Nirvana is the only colt he has sired. For one stallion to have four foals in his lifetime is sad, however it is lucky he has sired some at all. Each one of the them is of the absolute highest quality, as Nirvana and Al-Shama prove. Al-Shama is an absolute stunner from ear to hoof, and definately knows how to show off. She is full of snort, blow, and firey spirit! She acts like a stallion, flagging her tail and whinnying loudly. She just likes to be the center of attention, then again with her drop dead good looks its hard to imagine her out of the spotlight. A futurity mare, we may end up showing under saddle for a little bit to see how she does, but for now she is our newest addition to our broodmare band.
