Akmal Saphire, or Saffie, is breathtakingly gorgeous! She is a bright rich chestnut, and we have to say she is the spitting image of her sire. Saffie knows she's gorgeous as when there is people around you can always see her prancing and showing off. Saffie LOVES fuss and attention. So much so she'll whinny for it if you stop stroking her or when you aren't stroking her. She loves it, and she always has this happy dopey look on her face when you are stroking her. When you scratch her bum just before her tail Saffie always throws her head up and down with her tongue stuck out. Its just one of her odd quirks and reactions. This girl is very versitile as she can do dressage one moment perfectly and then do western pleasure the next. She has so much power, grace and agility she really is a blessing to watch. Saffie is a super calm and easy going mare which we enjoy being with. She's very quick to pick up things too just like her dam so should progress very quickly through the AHAC. This girl will start her show career in 2009.
