Akmal Jawahir is a gorgeous 2008 daughter of Sensation's Greatest Race out of our precious own mare Silver Satin. Jawahir's sire is a full brother to our own black stallion Sceptrum. We could not be more thrilled with how this filly turned out. She is sooooooooo pretty and the first of three fillies that was born here at Akmal and kept, the other two being Akmal Bint Gentry and Akmal Bint Ra, all greys wierdly enough. Jawahir doesn't know the meaning of showboating, and is actually rather wise beyond her years. She has the look of the wise, or the look of eagles, and is always watching everything that is going on and absorbing it. She learns through watching others, and when someone or something else does something and it gets praise she immediately copies it. In this way she is not only a very intelligent horse but very progressive too. She is always learning, and she is a hugely welcome addition to our youngstock. This girl is going to go far, with or without us!
