The Mists of Gold
A Threshold Where Two Worlds Connect

Autumn and Spring mark the transition between the warm and the cold months. Dawn and dusk mark the transition between darkness and light. A doorway, just like a hearth, marks the transition between inside and out.

Just as there are physical signs, any shifts in our conscious or subconscious are transitions as well. In the Celtic tradition, "in-between" times are considered sacred for they are doorways ... Thresholds.

The Mist ...

Always changing and shifting. Airy, but at the same time, also not without weight. Not really water. Not really air. But, like all things in balance, an intricate complement of the two.

The In-Between.

The mist is, in essence, a quiet reminder that Spirituality is also a complimentary blending of many things that are seen and unseen. It flows through tradition, culture, ancestry, as well as nature. Like the mist, our spirit needs to shift, rise disappear and return. Its about drifting through the complex world that we live in and at the same time embracing the sacred world.

The Mist ...

The profound interweaving of elements that are otherwise thought to be separate.

It is within the spirit of the mist that we can find healing.

Just as the mist drifts and reaches out to touch the edges of all things, we are reminded to do the same.

To reach out to one another ... reach out to nature.
And also to reach inside to touch the deepest part of ourselves.

The knotwork which is shown is called a Triquetra.
It is a Celtic symbol depicting The Trinity.
It's three equal arcs signify equality.
It's continuous line expresses eternity.
And the interweaving represents the interconnectedness of all things.
The center circle woven through it represents
THE ALL
which has no beginning and no end.
