| The Golden Gate Chapter of SMART (Special Military Active-Retired Travel Club) is located in Central California. The club meets six times a year at various RV parks throughout Central California. Membership is open to all active duty and retired members of the military. The Golden Gate Chapter is affiliated with the national SMART organization, with 60 chapters throughout the United States. In addition to local musters SMART sponsors regional musters and a National Muster. The National organization also sponsors a variety of organized caravans throughout North America.
