Introduction
From most of the levels, this one had the largest quantity of changes for most of the visual aspects of the Facility. Most texture maps were redesigned, composed, and changed quite a fair bit untill it became the Facility known now. For during development, the main focus was to impliment an old aged look for the Facility from what the movie had actually looked like. These would consist of the doors, from which were infact the Archives doors, and such others which had been changed as well. Many of the Facility walls were infact as well changed, mostly which were a plain color, such as white or grey. There were most other changes, many of which had given a weathered look to add realism, although these were infact redone and of which then gave a more new look to the Facility. Many other aspects were changed, such as the Scientists which had wondered throughout the halls of which had plainly nothing to do. In addition, few guards had wore other types of suits such as the Russain Infantry suit.

Contact Double Agent - Contacting the Double Agent would allow you to obtain the door decoder to contain access to the bottling room. Although, when in early stage development of the Facility, Dr.Doak was infact not pre-planned for any contact throught GoldenEye. Instead, you had been provided from "Q" with this device from the starting. Although, during half development, to add more complexity of the level, he was then released as an objective to complete. As I may note, the objectives above were infact quite at it's minimum standars for a level, especially excepting the fact that the Facility was quite a large level, this objective was placed in. As well, he was also placed only of one area in the Facility. However, once again, to get more complexity out from the level, he was then placed in various positions throughout the Facility for you to search.

Minimize Scientists Casualties? - Throughout the Facility contains Scientists, these who would stand around with nothing much to do. They were usually in the way and was not crucial for it were for you to accidentally shoot them. Although, when they were assigned positions, they were more the less not in the way for your mission, so infact, if you had shot a Scientist, it would have been on purpose. So, instead, it was for you to instead make sure these Scientists were to stay alive and make it through without being killed. Although, this objective was released further more into the games development.


Facility Visuals
As explained above, the 3D designers for the Facility level had to impliment an ago old look, adding realism of which was in the movie. There were termendous changes, all ranging from the texture maps to the placements of the objects. A fair amount of the texture maps were recreated, few were left untouched, although from what the Facility once was, it had been changed into a much newer looking Facility. The walls had been a plain whitish grey, the above ceiling as brownish tiles, the ground flooring with greenish marble tiles, the doors as ones of which were used in the Archives, etc.

The doors which were used were infact all much different then from the ones which are used of the Facility now. The doors for the Facility stalls in the bathroom had looked simular as to the Archives, as well as a few doors which are white now had consisted of the Archives doors. The doors which would slide open were infact different as well, they had consisted of the same style as the ones now, although looked more old. In addition, the doors used for the Scientists rooms near the end were a basic square, consisting of glass through the middle. Each of these doors can be activated using Gameashark, although you need a seperate code to change a sepereate door. To change the doors, check the following codes below.

The code above only modifies one door, if you want to modify through all the doors of the Facility, change the 4 to the next number (5). So it should like something like this:

If you take a look at the image above to the top of the page, it shows a few guards in the bottling room. You may also notice that the tanks are double stacked, higher then in the final version. This is infact in the movie, although why was it removed? There are indications that why you had actually planted the mines through all the tanks, when you detinated them the explosion why some times not reach to the above tanks. For which, to avoid complications, they had infact taken in out to a minimum of what the tanks are of now so it would have been less complicated and time comsuming to restart the level, for the fact that the tanks would of not exploded.


Facility Scientists/Guards
Throughout the Facility are guards, as well as Scientsists. The guards have two types of suits, these of which are the Russain Soldier (green) and Russain Infantry (brown) suits. The guards of which who wear the Russain Infantry suits are who have the helmits. Although, the guards which wear the Russain Soldier suits are who that have either the green Russain hats or nothing at all on their heads. However, throughout the Facility there are also Scientists. These who of which are mainly located all around the Facility, basically with nothing to do except of getting in your line of fire. Many rumors have had it that there were infact lady Scientists, although this was basically false information. The lady scientists were infact a Multiplayer character spacifically designed only for Multiplayer and nothing else. Although, the Scientists which run throughout the Facility could be shot down without failing an objective.
