Introduction
During the development of GoldenEye, the real names of the weapons were removed because there was a legal 'grey area' concerning the gun names; in the end they decided it was not worth the risk of incurring the wrath of people who by definition would have guns easily available to them. They also felt that they should avoid encouraging people to seek out particular firearms in the real world. However, I have included indepth information on what names in which were planned during the Beta Version, and some text about each.

Gameshark, click here to find out more about
the Gameshark codes and explanation.

Military Launcher
A powerful weapon which unleashes a devastating blast from a rocket when triggered. This high powered weapon was an early test of what the Rocket Launcher is now known of in GoldenEye today. The weapon was held just above the should to support the recoil from the blast. During the stages of devopment, this weapon was a basic "rough" test to the weapon of the Rocket Launcher we all know of. It was re-designed because the game could handle more than expected polygons on screen, which resulted in eliminating the blocky effect to it. Which, in the stages re-creating, they had added a much more complex design to it, and had also given it a more understandible name.

Taser Boy
A large, heavy weight weapon wich releases volts of electicity that can neutralize a victum. This weapon was created during the early stages of the games development. The main focus point for which the team of GoldenEye re-designed this taser was that it was too big in size for their likings. It was intended to have a more small, easy to recognize look to it. From which, they also gave it a more natural/non-phoney name. However, this weapon was not intended to be retrieved at any point in the game.

Old KF7 (AK47) Soviet
A tough and capable automatic rifle which is a standard issue to Soviet troops. This rifle had two versions to it, one which is included in many Beta pictures, and the other which is in the current version of GoldenEye. The old KF7 was used for such time untill the team believed it was time to change the weapon into a much more advanced model of the one they have. The main reason of which they re-designed it was because it was too low-poly, and the capabilities of GoldenEye was advanced enough to hold a much more detailed model, considdering the old model looks quite blockish. However, people still have belief that it is able to be hacked with the Gameshark, although the weapon had been replaced with the new one. So, in fact, the old verison of the weapon was removed out of the game.
