Queen Righteous     c.w.brown     1998
She grew up in a lonely house.
With lots of chores and a little love.
She loved her dogs and loved her bros,
But the world was never good enough.

The lovely mistress left her home,
She left her chores and she left her dogs.
For a world that is good enough.
She forgot everyone

We met one day in a lovely church.
With lots of flowers and a little dust.
I said I love you and she said me too.
But I was never good enough

The lovely mistress left our church,
She left the flowers and she left me too.
For a world that is good enough.
She forgot everyone

Queen Righteous now lives on her own.
With lots of wine and a little sleep.
She loves her cigarettes and she loves welfare.
But the drugs were never good enough.

The lovely mistress left her life,
She left her wine and she left her drugs.
For a world that is good enough.
She forgot everyone who loved her.

Some say that it was a pity,
With lots of chores and a little love.
I say I loved her and she me,
But the apathy will never make up.
