Why Do They Lie?
Why do they lie and hold the Truth inside?
Don't they know that a lie will come
slithering out of the woodwork
some other day?
Then the Light will shine upon it
and it will be bare.
Don't they know that lies create deceit,
and slaps love in the face?
Don't they know that the Father of Lies
is Satan himself?
That a lie destroys all hope
for a future embrace?
Why do they lie to someone they claim to love?
Don't they know the secrets they cover up
is seen by the One above.
He cannot be fooled,
as He sees all of what they do.
And a loved one can be told the Truth by Him,
through the Spiritual Realm.
Don't they know that Truth and Honesty
is the only way to go?
Don't they know that an open heart,
and a truthful tongue creates true love.
That to open your heart and soul to another
is the way to gain respect?
Who can trust a liar?
Who can not have fear to it?
Don't they know to speak Truth
gives them Honor?
Don't they know how to give love
the honest way?
