I am the Warrior of Normal, Persian. Known as the Wraith to the humans at the edge of my territory. Humans, pokemon are better off without them. I laid in the sun, thinking. Everything used to be fine. Humans feared us. The 15 Warriors. But now. The fools, don't they realize that trusting humans will be the end of us?! The Warrior of Ground for instance. She trusted humans as much as I did. Not at all. Now it's changed. All because we learned of that . . . that human! That blasted boy! He's upsetting the balance! It was quite simple. A human came, we fought and defeated their pokemon. The human forever fears us. But ever since that human and his friend came into our lives everything has changed! Change was bad. I hissed, imagining what I would do to the boy when I saw him. I would restore the balance! All I had to do was wait. I was the Hunter, I could wait for eternity. My mate comes to me. She knows I'm brooding and planning. Who will you hunt? There are no humans here. She asks. I await my prey, a boy. I tell her. Why a mere boy? Comes her question to match her eyes. This . . . boy is a threat to our balance. We must be swift in dealing with him. She nods. We begin planning for his arrival. I once had a trainer, he raised me into what I am now. But the humans took him from me. Our personalities fit like two pieces of a puzzle. The boy was the offspring of the human that was responsible for taking my trainer away. This boy's blood line has haunted my master and the others before him for far too long. It was time to end it. The successor of my master sent a Charizard to destroy that human. He had succeeded. But that humans offspring, his blood will forever interfere unless it is taken care of. I shall be the one to do that. My mate agrees. I watch over our offspring as they play. Still planning. The Charizard with the boy is the greatest threat. The girl with him might interfere. But she is of no concern. Oh I do hope they stumble into my territory. I knead the ground with my black claws before returning my attention to our offspring. My eyes narrow slightly at the eldest, she is conniving. She likes to bend rules in her favour. Which makes me distrust her slightly. Then I see it in her eyes as she bathes herself. She's planning something as well. My mate, perhaps you should not do this . . . the other Warriors . . . My mate is hesitating. Do not worry, they will reward me for restoring the balance. I reassure her. This boy is special to them, especially to the Warrior of Fire . . . She still hesitates, it must be something maternal. Why do you hesitate? It is a hunt. I ask her. I'm worried what the other Warriors will do to you when they learn of this. They cannot do anything. I tell her. She remains uncertain. Fine, if you do not wish to participate then do not interfere. I tell her. She nods and walks away. Excellent, the human is here. Time to restore the balance. I take down a Beedrill and dip my claws in it's poison. Beedrill poison causes pokemon to faint. It causes humans to die. They're weak. I tell my son to keep an eye on them, to distract them when I give the signal. My eldest saunters by, I demand to know where she's going. She's going to hunt. Good, she will not interfere in my hunt. I watch my son challenge the human from my position behind a tree. The human sends out a Rattata. The Charizard is battle ready, he strongly suspects. No matter. I will succeed in my hunt. I bound out from the tree in a fluid leap, the Charizard whirls to face me but I merely slam into him and use his knee to propel myself over his head. He grabbed my tail in his mouth. As I fall, a single claw rakes the human's leg. I have succeeded. Have you no honour? He yells, I merely laugh. He roared at me, asking what was so funny. I tell him. The human is already unconscious, his bloodline will end in two hours. The girl screams his name. So does the moronic Meowth. While the Charizard is shouting orders, I run. I come to a stop in my glade, breathing heavily. There is a loud thump behind me. As I look at the Charizard, I experience an emotion for the first time. Fear. He begins to rip into my flesh using his claws and teeth. The other Warriors come, the Warrior of Psychic has teleported them all here. The Warriors of Fire and Water hold him back. I see the Warrior of Grounds face. She wants to kill me. The Warriors let her, I am too beaten to move. As her Bone Club comes down, I see the face of my eldest for the last time. Her smile is victorious. Now I know her plan. She knew this would happen. Now my eldest is the Warrior of Normal. That's my last thought as the club crushes my skull.
