This song is a simple song with a simple message. Often times, musicians (mainly secular) write music for their own prosperity; for their own personal gain.  We (Gold Crown), however, have nothing to gain here.  All that we need, we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not play music for ourselves. I have been called into the ministry of music, and therefore play for the benefit of Christ. Sometimes I don't think people realize what we are trying to do here. We are not trying "to get heard" or become "popular." We are, on the other hand trying to get Christ heard, and Christ popular, and strengthen current Christians' faith in the Lord. Just as the angel said as John he began to worship at his feet, (Rev. 22:8-11) we also say "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"
Simply put, we don't play to be liked, or to be famous, but we play as  servants (page) of the Lord.
