Since its founding by thirteen enthusiastic rose lovers in 1982, The Gold Country Rose Society (GCRS) has thrived and now has 133 members.
The GCRS hosts a program meeting at the Rose Room in the Community Center on Lincoln Way in Auburn, the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 PM, except July and August when the Rosarians retreat to their gardens and to their vacations. Guests are always welcome at these meetings. Most guests become members after one or two visits. To do this, simply sign up at one of the meetings. No one can remain a stranger in GCRS.
The GCRS publishes Rose Nuggets, monthly, except for July and August. This newsletter is worth the price of membership. Membership is only $20.00 per household.
