Our Project:

Popsicle Ladybug Directions
Our goal is to organize, create, and collect as many crafts as possible to donate to the Senior Nutrition Meal Program. This is an American Red Cross sponsered program that services over 650 homebound elderly men and women. These crafts will be added to their daily delivered meals to brighten up their spirits and let them know we care.

How You Can Help:
Senior Nutrition Meal Program
Service Unit 29 Website
Our plan is to attend 7 service unit meetings during the year to teach a craft. These crafts will be for all age levels. We are asking for you support by committing your troop to complete 4 of the 7 crafts. Instructions, a sample,  and some supplies will be handed out at the meetings. We are asking $2 per craft from each troop to offset the supply cost. The instructions and photos can also be found on the right side of this page.

To Show Our Appreciation:
Each girl who completes at least 4 of the 7 crafts will receive a certificate and a gift as a thank you for helping us earn our gold award. We appreciate your creativity. If you choose to do a craft other than the ones we provide, we will gratefully accept it and count it towards your commitment.
Craft Days
There will be a craft day where we invite all the troops to come for a few hours of craft making and fun. All the crafts that are made will be distributed to the homebound seniors and seniors at the senior centers.

Brownies who attend will receive a craft sampler Try-It. Daisy, Juniors, Caddettes and Seniors will receive a community service patch.
