PROSTRATION OF FORGETFULNESS
MORE ON FORGETFULNESS PROSTRATION
There are four times during the prayer in which one must be motionless (tumaneenah): while bowing (rukoo), after standing from bowing, while prostrating (sujood), and while sitting between the two prostrations. Some texts count these four pauses as separate integrals while others consider them a part the bowing, prostration, etc. Thus, Reliance of the Traveller lists seventeen integrals while The Bare Essentials lists thirteen.

The integrals of prayer are those things that have to be done (or said) in order for the prayer to be valid. Omitting any of the integrals of prayer (whether intentionally, absentmindedly, or out of ignorance) renders the prayer invalid. Such a prayer cannot be repaired by the forgetfulness prostration and must be repeated. An integral can be referred to as a rukn (pl. arkan) or as a fard (pl. faraid or furood). [Reliance, f11.2]
The integrals of prayer can be found in
The Bare Essentials, and in Reliance of the Traveller, f9.14
For any of the five daily prayers, it is obligatory to intend a minimum of three things:
purposing the act, specification, and the essentiality ( fard )are necessary;

If it is a non-necessary one that is
time-specific (such as a regular sunna) or has a reason, only purposing the act and specification are necessary.

If it is an unconditional non-necessary one, only
purposing the act is necessary.

For example the act is "
I pray"; specification is "the afternoon prayer" or "the late afternoon prayer"; essentiality is "essential" ( fard ).

The intention should occur
while saying Allahu Akbar. This simply means that while saying Allahu Akbar you should be conscious for e.g. that you are praying fajr and that it is an obligation.

What About Intending Praying in Congregation?

A follower must
intend congregation before following the imam's movements. A follower intends following the imam (Ar. iqtida') while the imam intends being an imam (Ar. imamah). It is also valid for either (or both) to intend congregation (Ar. jama'ah). Only after this intention is made does one start to get the reward of praying in congregation. Therefore, it's ideal to make this intention during the opening Allahu Akbar along with the other components of the intention. If the imam forgets to intend the congregation for dhuhr and only does so in the second rak'ah, he gets the reward of praying three rak'ahs in congregation and one rak'ah alone. If the imam never intends congregation, he gets the reward of praying alone. Those who made the intention of following him get the reward of praying in congregation.
When making up missed prayers, one can intend the same thing that one would intend if one were praying it on time. If one missed the zuhr prayer, for example, and was making it up after its time, one would say, I intend to pray the obligatory prayer of zuhr (usalli fard al-dhuhr). It is not necessary to intend whether the prayer is a make-up or a current performance, although it is superior to do so (Reliance, f8.3).
The best group prayer is the group prayer of the Friday prayer, which is obligatory and therefore unlawful to leave without excuse. Next [in merit] is the group prayer of the fajr prayer on Friday, followed by the group prayer of the fajr prayer on other days, followed by the group prayer of the isha prayer, followed by the group prayer of the asr prayer, followed by the group prayer of the zuhr prayer, followed by the group prayer of the maghrib prayer
While following an imam, it is recommended for the followers to listen quietly to the imam's recitation of fatiha. In order to conform with all the recommended acts regarding the fatiha, followers of an imam in the shafi`i madhab recite the fatiha silently to themselves only after the imam finishes his fatiha and everyone says "ameen".Even if that means you will end up reciting a bit over his next sura.
In the case where you know that the
imam recites very quickly, or does not leave much room for recitation after his fatiha and recites short suras, then there is no blame in beginning your fatiha during the recitation of his fatiha. This will never nullify your prayer
Forbidden Times for Prayer

Prayer that has no preceding or coinciding reason is forbidden during five times: (1) at the rising of the sun until it rises the measure of a spear; (2) at noon on other than Friday until it descends; (3) at the yellowing until it sets; (4) after the morning prayer until the sun rises; (5) after the late afternoon prayer until it sets.
