| Laser lasers are very small and are capable of going through their targets. Though they are small, most are nonlethal. Lasers are shot through the eyes or a single finger. They don't require very much energy to use, and when in a high power level fight, are useless against the enemy. The lasers shot from the eyes barely leave a scratch, but some can hurt. The lasers fired from the fingers can penetrate through the body. -Laser Eye -Special Beam Cannon -Death Beam Energy Ball this is a ball of energy. Damage varies according to the size and the amount of energy put into it. Energy balls can be thrown by the many and can be manipulated. The very large and powerful ones, like the giant spirit bomb, are capable of destroying planets, while the small ones barely leave a scratch. When a fighter begins to run low on energy and gets tired out, they will resort to energy balls in order to save some energy. -Spirit Bomb -Scatter Shot -Power Ball Disc This form of energy is very lethal. One energy disc is able to slice anyone and anything into pieces, no matter how strong they are. Krillin would have killed Nappa with his Distructo Disc if Vegeta hadn't intervened. Discs can also break up into many, smaller discs. Like energy balls, discs can be manipulated. Towards the end of the Dragonball Z series, discs are very rarely used. -Distructo Disc -Split Distructo Disc Wave This is like a miniature blast. Energy waves are shafts of energy. The energy stays within that shaft unless more energy is put into the wave, in which case the shaft increases in size. These include the most common techniques used by the Z fighters thorughout the series. Some waves can be manipulated and/or split into many, smaller waves. Energy waves are often used when two fighters have an energy standoff like with Cell and Gohan. -Kamehameha -Split Kamehameha -Big Bang -Masenko -Gallick Gun -Breath of Fury -Body Change -Tribeam Blast Energy blasts are the strongest, most effective form of energy. They are similar to waves except that the energy spreads throughout the whole direction of fire. Though they are the strongest form of energy they are rarely used. The energy required to shoot a blast is too much to spare in a fight. With a lot of concentration, blasts can be directed toward a certain spot. Energy blasts are almost always used as finshing moves. -Energy Blast -Final Flash -Big Bang Kamehameha Aura Auras can be helpful, harmful, or neither. It is a flame of energy that surrounds the fighter. An aura is basically like a symbol of power. An example of a helpful/harmful aura-type attack is the Kaioken technique. It is a red aura that temporarily increases speed, strength, and agility, but if the user isnt used to a certain level of it, it could destroy his/her body.
