Aeneas Reporting from YM Front Line

It seems to be that time of year again. And yet people do not seem to be in that mood. Give, people, give. Don't kill each other. Lest we forget, did not that little tyke two thousand years ask for peace on earth and goodwill towards men? I don't think the dialogue between Jesus and Santa Claus went like this:
"Ho, ho, ho, baby Jesus! What do you want for Christmas?"
"Peace on earth and goodwill towards men! *looks hopeful*"
"Well, how about a clockwork train?"
"Okay ... "
So, all hell breaks loose. "Rome" invades Rainbow Catastrophe Earth, razing gates and killing inhabitants though talking out of the other side of their face and saying that they're "freeing" RCE from "warlords" and that, in due time, they will establish a new-player-friendly environment on RCE. Dworkin starts flitting around Yellow Moon, builds a weir, and proceeds to open the door to the largest attack on Yellow Moon since ... um ... quite a while. Say, um, it's a first? Eclipse, Melkor, and Ancalagon let loose long-harboured resentments, and also declare war on Yellow Moon. The LA is caught flat-footed, and response is slow and disorganized, after such a long period of peace and prosperity on Yellow Moon. The YMGP declares its aid towards defending YM, and begins to kill those who it has been lax on. After around 14,000 Brotherhood minor souls enter YM, they proceed to move East towards the Gate Ring. Assorted defenders apply the "scorched earth" policy � retreating and destroying all supplies.
As of this writing, Aemoh, assisted by Dworkin, is building yet another weir, which is most likely to be aligned with Rainbow Maiden, which is in the hands of the Warlord's Union of Rainbow Maiden, or W.U.R.M., whose members include Ancalagon, Eclipse, Melkor, and possibly blooddrake, if he hasn't broken ties with WURM.
The southern oceans of YM are being defended by myself, Aeneas, and Evyndd, current co-leader of the Yellow Moon Gate Patrol. Both ltlprincess and stormy, 1100 and 3800 minor souls respectfully, are not in the ocean or are moving out of it.
On the Western Front, the Huns ... er, the BH ... are being held up by a lack of roads. Current minor souls counts are sizzle (2000), Felice (~500), snagglepuss (790), Aemoh (1000), Gannet (~470), and pondy (200). Sizzle and Felice are both on the Gate Ring's Leaf Gate, on which there are about six or seven other major souls, most of which are originalities[1]. The other gates are equally populated by originalities. The weirs to Blue Crone World and Rainbow Dawn Land are both still connected.

I find it funny how all of a sudden, everything comes unglued. Every "baddie" in the game suddenly invades YM or RCE. Do they not realize that there are other worlds out there? That it's a waste of resources to try and conquer other worlds? Ah well, Aeneas signing off now.
