An Interview with Felice, of The Brotherhood
As promised, a piece for our readers to update you on the Yellow Moon Campaign. This evening, The Descryer had a chance to sit down with Mr. Felice and obtain first hand information from a front line warrior of The Brotherhood. The following is the transcript of tonight�s interview:
TheDescryer: Mr. Felice, how are you this evening? Felice: just dandy TheDescryer: Thank you for granting The Descryer the opportunity to interview you. Felice: no problem TheDescryer: We are most interested in two points: one is your affiliation with the Brotherhood and the other is your involvement with the current struggle on Yellow Moon. Felice: nifty TheDescryer: So, let's start from your involvement with the Brotherhood. TheDescryer: Are you currently a member? Felice: yup TheDescryer: How long have you been a member of BH? Felice: month or 2 TheDescryer: Currently, is there leadership -- if so, would you tell our reader who Felice: perhaps to your first question and no comment to the second TheDescryer: Ah, we understand. TheDescryer: What attracted you to join The Brotherhood? Felice: Well, someone in the Brotherhood offered to gather for me after I took BD's escape world, cause he was pretty mad at me TheDescryer: So, it's because that a member of BH showed friendliness toward you. TheDescryer: Was BD a member of the BH at that time? Felice: Perhaps TheDescryer: Would you say that you are quite loyal to the Brotherhood and its causes? Felice: yes Felice: That's enough questions about the BH, I thought this was about the invasion... TheDescryer: (nervous laugh) Sure sure. TheDescryer: You used the word "Invasion" to describe the recent events on Yellow Moon. Felice: What would you call it? TheDescryer: So, you would qualify the action of The Brotherhood as an invasion of Yellow Moon. Felice: No, we're just here for the view. TheDescryer: (laugh) And the goal is to conquer the planet? Felice: We'll see, won't we? TheDescryer: This is a fairly large scale military maneuvering... How long did the planning take? Do you know? Felice: hmmm, little less than a month I'd say TheDescryer: That is impressive...So many major souls gathered and each with such a strong force. Felice: Hardest part was getting here and building a weir gate. TheDescryer: Were you surprised that the YM residents / government did not detect the weir construction / alignment? Felice: They did, but didn't really do much until now. TheDescryer: So, would you qualify that as a slip of their leadership? Felice: Evyndd offered and did gather for me 4 times, but I failed a bunch of triggers, so, the leadership needs some work. TheDescryer: Evyndd was clueless as to your affiliation and intention? Felice: Indeed. I told him I had interest in helping out the GP for a little while. TheDescryer: We know that you, sizzle, aemoh, ltlprincess, and gannet, among others, went into YM with large troops. What were you anticipating when you arrived -- resistance-wise, and did YM resistance meet your anticipation? What surprised you? Felice: hmmm. Their resistance is pitiful. TheDescryer: How so? Felice: Well, Zirconium and copasetic are the only real resistance we've had, and Zirconium went from 1000 to 0 peeps today Felice: but he had TD cast TheDescryer: Ah... TheDescryer: Was the weak response what the BH anticipated? Felice: Not by me. Didn't ask others. I thought they would have many more peeps fighting us TheDescryer: minor souls or major souls? Felice: I thought they would have more major souls with 500+peeps TheDescryer: But they didn't? Felice: I see 3 right now TheDescryer: Care to tell us which three Major Souls? Felice: Ouroboros, copasetic, and skuldsaga who has 420 but is mobalizing many more right now. TheDescryer: What other tactics have YM resistance used to deflect the invading forces? Felice: They're just goin' around, setteling hamlets TheDescryer: So, would you say that settling hamlets (aggro?) was one of YM's major tactics? To delay the invasion? Felice: At first they destroyed all the roads. TheDescryer: Ah... slowing down the enemy line. Felice: Yeah. But then I summoned Kalani, and he re-built a few. TheDescryer: Would you say that the destruction of roads effectively slowed down the BH? Felice: Slowed us down, but did not really make a huge difference. Except Zirconuim was able to come before we got to the gates TheDescryer: Are the gates your short term goals? The Gate Ring? Felice: no comment TheDescryer: How far are you and your brothers from the Gate Ring, in your estimate? Felice: time or distance? TheDescryer: distance Felice: Sizzle and I are 1 square from the leaf gate. Others are a few squares behind. TheDescryer: The leaf gate being the west-most elemental gate on YM? Felice: indeed TheDescryer: I imagine that you will not tell us whether there are many more troops coming through the weir in the near future? Felice: correct TheDescryer: In your mind, so far, the campaign has been a major success? A minor one? Or a disappointment? Felice: no comment TheDescryer: In your calculation/estimation -- what casualties have each side of the battle suffered? Felice: On our side, Dworkin died. Gannet lost about 1000 peeps. I lost 600, but 250 of those were settling hamlets. sizzle lost about 300. snagglepuss lost a few, but those were settled I think. That's about it. They lost Josh, Anjill. Zirc lost 999 peeps and they lost many hamlets we killed to make room for our own. And GM lost a couple hundred. Copasetic settled a hamlet of about 1200 that we killed. Aemoh is currently attacking another hamlet he settled of 380. TheDescryer: How many peeps does Copa have on him currently? Is he fleeing? Felice: Copasetic has 620 on him now. and has 1,200. TheDescryer: Thanks. Felice: no problem TheDescryer: So, at the present time, do you see that BH has more troops than YM? Felice: No, they probably have a bit more. Felice: But I don�t know, they could have 50000 4 squares east of me, where I can't see. Hopefully not TheDescryer: Are there retreating plans in place for the Brotherhood, if the invasion campaign proves futile? Felice: no comment TheDescryer: Thank you so much for sparing time from your busy schedule to offer your perspectives on this invasion. Felice: Any time.
