SUMMARY: this is a continuation of a song fic i wrote called poison. 

In order for you to understand this you must read the first part. and 

I will warn you now this is not i repeat NOT a happy story. so dont 

gripe you have been warned

Goku lay on the ground his bod  limp from having cried himself into 

exhaustion. All he had ever wanted was Vegeta, and now he had lost 

him. Goku wimpered in his sleep his dreams bringing him no peace. 

Even in his own mind his own fantasies it was not to be. He rolled 

over throwing his arm across his face befor sitting up and pulling 

his knees to his chest. he opened his eyes slowly and blinked a 

couple of times. It took him a moment to realize where he was and 

why. he lowered his head reasing his forhead on his knees and sighed. 

he wished that he had been able to hide his true feelings better. 

atleast then he would still have Vegeta in his life. Now he felt that 

he had lost his beloved prince forever and there was nothing he could 

do to change it. He felt as if his head would burst if he cried 

anymore and yet tears still managed to stream down his cheeks in a  

seemingly never ending wave.

"why.. oh kami why.." Goku sobbed into his knees

"why couldn't I hide it, why did I have to be so stupid" He sobbed 

chokeing on his words slightly.

Goku had no idea he was being watched he was too comsumed by his own 

greif to notice anything but his pain. nothing could have stopped his 

tears anyway. not his family or his freinds not even the prospect of 

looking weak in someone elses eyes. he no longer cared.

Vegeta watched silently as Goku crumbled before him. He watched as 

the strongest man he had ever known sat there broken and sobbing like 

a child.

"Peh.. pathetic weakling." Vegeta mummbled though his heart wasnt in 

it. some deep burried part of him hurt along with Goku, but his pride 

stopped him from doing anything about it. He had to admit he was 

thuroughly shocked by Goku's attraction. Of all people that Vegeta 

could ever suspect such things from Goku wasnt even on the list. It 

was a complete and total surprise, and now he had to deal with it. He 

knew he couldnt just leave Goku like that. As much as he shouldnt 

care a part of him did anyway. he sighed and walked over to where 

Goku was sitting.

"Kakarrot..." Vegeta began

"Save it." Goku Snapped

"I dont want your  pity or excuses. and the last thing i need to hear 

right now is how much of a sick perverted freak you think i am right 

now." Goku spat

"Kaka.." Vegeta tried again

"Just go away!" Goku interrupted

Vegeta growled a bit. he really didnt like being interrupted.

"Would you stop that" Vegeta snarled

Goku stayed silent never once lifting his head or looking at Vegeta.

"Kakarrot... I dont think your a pervert and... I  dont hate you" 

Vegeta stated quietly

Goku looked up the hurt in his eyes cutting Vegeta to the core. 

Vegeta sighed his hand balling into a fist

"...but... I dont love you.... not like that" Vegeta stated watching 

as Goku broke once more. only this time that tiny glimmer that had 

always been there was gone, possibly forever. then Vegeta turned and 

walked away.

Goku stood turning to look out at the water once more. He was no 

longer the innocent joyful man he used to be. His heart and spirit 

had been broken. The most powerful of enimies couldn't hurt him. All 

the power in the world couldn't save him. He was one of the strongest 

beings in the universe. and all it took to break him were four little 

words.
