The wind swept past, and Lex's white duster swirled around his legs
as the women in his life bustled about oohing and aahing about this
and that. He smiled happily and wandered out of the house and to the
barn. Clark had gone out with the guys and they were somewhere
partying while he was here coordinating last minute details with
Martha, Nell (for the flower arrangements), Lana, and Chloe.

He had had his favorite fashion designer make this duster suit
tailored just for him for his wedding day. She had come by and had it
fitted to his form while everyone admired the fit. The shirt was
black silk and was tight enough to outline the muscles on his chest.
The white/beige pants were held up by a black belt with a beige
buckle, and hugged his hips, flaring slightly as it went down. The
duster was white/beige and flared around him framing his figure, and
the black suede boots completed the look. He had her make something
for Clark as well and they were awaiting his return to fit it to him.
But it was early in the morning so no one was worried.

He was jerked out of his thoughts when Martha yelled at him to come
in the house before he messed up the suit. He walked leisurely back
to the house enjoying the crisp morning air. He dodged the gushing
girls and went upstairs to change into jeans and a shirt.

Martha had cooked breakfast, and he grabbed a plate and went at it. 4
months into the pregnancy, and he had gotten quite an appetite. He
thought it abnormal the amount of food he was eating, but they
thought he was finally eating normally. His morning toast and coffee
just didn't cut it anymore, so now he had eggs, bacon, and pancakes
slathered in syrup.

He was just glad that he didn't gain too much weight. Just some in
his hips that Clark loved to hold, and caress, but he didn't mind. It
felt good when he was close by him, supporting him throughout their
little adventure of pregnancy. He had even contacted the college and
asked to do the rest of his studies by correspondence. When the
college found out who he was marrying they were all to happy to do as
he asked. Since Clark was already advanced, it didn't take him long
to finish the course and graduate with the highest score in the
history of that school.

He was again broken out of his thoughts when Clark, Jonathan, Pete,
and Whitney walked in the door. They were laughing about something
and the joy and sunshine in Clark's face made his heart twitch and
float in response to his beautiful mate.

The men made their rounds on the ladies and him when they came in.
Clark was instantly at his side when he spotted him, kissing him
soundly in front of everyone. Rolled eyes, and aww's filled the room
as Lex grinned at them all and took a big bite of eggs and pancake.
Martha shooed Clark and Pete upstairs for their fitting, since he was
already done. They had decided that Pete would be the best man and
present the rings for them.

He sighed as he finished and put both hands on his belly. He could
feel the noticeable lump within him, and Jor-El said that it was
perfectly fine. He got up and sat on the livingroom couch, closed his
eyes to the bustle in the room and relaxed.

He hadn't been able to relax like this around his father or the
people that he had surrounded by before the Kent's got more involved
in his life. But now his new family had him feeling to safe. He
thought he would become soft, and how that wouldn't be good for the
new job he accepted before he went on vacation as diplomatic chief of
the government. But Clark reassured him many times that his ruthless
streak was still there. He smiled softly and was thankful that Clark
was so patient with him. He knew he had been a bitch lately, but
Clark just listened and kissed him after he was done a particular
rant made all the more in love with him.

He guessed he dozed because when he opened his eyes to a soft touch
on his cheek, Clark was above him smiling tenderly. He stretched,
yawned, and gave his love a smile in return. Clark sat down in his
regular clothes and Lex pulled him against his side.

"Did the suit fit?" Clark nodded and kissed his jaw inhaling his
scent with a flare of his nostrils. Clark had told him the farther in
pregnancy he got, the sweeter he smelled, like some exotic flower.
When he asked what he usually smelled like, Clark had smirked and
said like sex. He had laughed at him, and kissed him, which had led
to a serious making out session.

Clark had moved his hands to his hips and he snuggled closer smiling
at a memory that flashed to him. The guys had laughed and said that
he looked like a girl from behind, because of the curves he'd
developed, one afternoon they had all gone out together. He
remembered he had been wearing tight jeans and a t-shirt because it
was a hot day. Clark had practically hid him against his side the
rest of the day and they had teased him for it, until Lex put a stop
to it.

They lay there, Clark gently stroking his hips until it was time to
get up and get ready for the wedding. They walked in to the bustle
again and Lex went to get dressed in the guestroom. Clark and Pete
were driven to the site before he came out, and he was fussed with
until his glare made everyone back off.

He was silent the car ride up to the secluded field that they had
picked as the wedding site. Almost the whole town of Smallville had
shown up, but they would be watching the wedding from a camera feed
that had been hooked up. In the actual ceremony area only their
friends and family along with a select few were their to witness it
by sight. The cameras flashed as he exited the limo and he was
guarded by Jon, as well as the personal guards scattered around the
area. He stopped to answer several questions to pacify the papers,
and plastered a smile on his face. It wasn't really hard since this
had to be the happiest day of his life.

"Mr. Luthor! How do you feel about the fact that the sodomy laws of
Kansas were changed two months before your marriage to Mr. Kent?"

"I'm glad that Kansas has adopted more modern laws, and have made it
possible for my fiance and I to stay here in the home that we've
made."

"Mr. Luthor! Are you going to take Mr. Kent's last name?"

"Though we will be married our names will not change since we decided
to preserve our family names."

"Mr. Luthor, how does it feel to be the new Chief of Diplomacy? Do
you think your marriage to Mr. Kent will damage your influence in any
way?"

"I will enjoy my position I'm sure, once I'm off of vacation. As for
my marriage I have received well wishes and congratulations from my
associates. In fact some of them will be attending the ceremony
today. Now I must be getting to my wedding. Don't want my husband-to-
be thinking I've gotten cold feet."

The reporters laughed and he made a smooth departure to the enclosed
area were the union would take place. Jonathan walked by him and shot
him a little smirk. "Luthor charm on full blast already Lex?"

Lex gave him a cheeky grin and picked up an appetizer off a platter a
waiter was passing by with. "Only making sure I don't have too many
enemy's Jon. After all in my position I'm supposed to make people
comfortable. Why not start practicing now? Where's the food at?" Jon
laughed at the sudden change in subject and guided his impending son-
in-law to the buffet table.

"I think your supposed to wait until after the ceremony is over Lex."

Lex nodded with his mouth full, walked over to look at the setup of
the area and smiled. The small spot was covered with a white tarp
held on four poles. The eating area was under a three-sided tent,
with flower arrangements on every table, and hanging vines down the
sides. There were white benches on each side of the aisle and flowers
were strung around the backs of them. The aisle had a white roll out
rug peppered with royal purple rose petals. The birch podium was
under a white arch that had white and deep purple-tinted roses
climbing up the sides and dangling in front of it to frame Clark and
his figures.

A water fountain was behind the podium, and the water glistened in
the sunlight on the warm beautiful day. 'Everything's perfect.' He
though with satisfaction. He felt a hand on the small of his back,
the other one slide around his waist to rest on his belly, and turned
to see Clark smiling at him adoringly. Lex gave him a once over and
smiled. Clark looked gorgeous, with the tight white silk shirt and
black pants and jacket with shiny black dress shoes. He had a royal
purple rose in his lapel and his hair looked slick with curls hanging
over his forehead.

"You'll be in trouble if Martha finds you here."

"I know. I just couldn't resist seeing you. You're beautiful Lex."
Lex blushed and grabbed Clark's hand dragging him behind a billowing
tent side. They kissed deeply and Lex moaned when the vibrations from
Clark's purring went through his body. They broke apart gasping
softly and Lex stood on his tiptoes to rest his forehead against
Clark's. They stood like that until a clearing throat brought the
apart.

Chloe was smiling softly at them and shrugged apologetically. "The
President is here, and so are some other people. The Secretary of
State is ready to marry you two so come on!" She was practically
bouncing on her feet and they both chuckled at her enthusiasm. They
walked out holding hands, and Lex reluctantly disengaged to talk to
some of his associates.

Clark went to the cluster of his family and friends and tried to calm
Pete down, since he was so nervous. Chloe had finally just smacked
him on the back of the head, then gave him a kiss and he'd been
grinning ever since.

Soon everyone was settled and the ceremony began. Soon they went
through the speech the Secretary had prepared. Lex smiled glowingly
at Clark as they spoke their vows. He paid enough attention to say
his part but concentrated completely on Clark. His voice seemed to
flow over him and he breathed in deeply when Clark ended his vow, "I
will always be by your side. Our love will last to the end of time."

Everyone clapped and whooped when Clark leaned over and kissed Lex
passionately. He grinned widely at him and Lex felt his heart beat
quicken with the sight in front of him. The sun was directly behind
Clark, and it gave his head a halo effect, and his smile was bright,
and as blinding as the powerful sun.

They had the reception afterwards, and could barely keep their hands
off of one another. Soon they were able to leave for their honeymoon,
in Cancun. Lex napped and Clark wrapped around him during the flight
until they got to the beach house Lex had bought for the occasion.

The man who had carried their bags, and drove them to the house kept
giving Lex appreciative looks, and Clark was practically growling at
him staking his territory. Lex was unaware since all he wanted to do
was lie down with his husband, and relax.

When they were at the house Clark threw the man out with a smaller
tip than he normally would have, and pounced on Lex. Lex laughed as
Clark zipped them up to the room clutching his shoulders. Every time
he did that, it felt like he was on a roller coaster. He was carried
across the room and laid gently in the bed and stripped. Soon after
that his naked husband was beside him kissing him warmly.

They made love the whole night and the morning found them asleep on
the king-size bed. They enjoyed the beach, and played around for
several nights. Their vows were said several times to each other as
they wrapped each other in love, and compassion.

The last night of their honeymoon Lex stood looking out over the
shimmering water. He reflected on all they had been through, the
people that he loved, and the life that he would have with the love
of his life. He smiled and breathed in the fresh air deeply.

'For a Luthor, I didn't do too bad.' With that thought he went back
into the lit house, back to his loving husband. He thought he could
hear the soft sounds of bells that had rang at their wedding. 'Not
bad at all.'
