Lex lay curled in a fetal position protecting the baby within his
belly from the harsh kicks to his back and sides. He gasped as a
particularly painful one fell against his hip. He rolled onto his
knees, again trying to shield the center of his body from attack. He
flung out a hand as another foot landed on the middle of his back.

"Stop! I will see your leader now." Lex wasn't one to give in, but it
wasn't only him at stake here. He panted softly and kept his hand out
as if to fend off blows, though he knew it wouldn't if the men wanted
to continue. They spoke in a foreign language that Lex's mind was too
garbled from dehydration, hunger, pain, and the cold of the dank dark
cell he had been in for what must be days by now, to translate. He
groaned and fell to his side as dizziness swept over him in a sudden
wave.

He opened his eyes to complete silence, and realized that he must
have blacked out. He very slowly moved to a seated position and drew
his knees to his chest, his sweat soaked back plastered against the
damp wall. He looked over his surroundings again for an escape but
found none. The same dirty floor, hanging light, and toilet were all
his prison held.

He thought over the last week since he had been taken and groaned.
The President was probably in an uproar over his disappearance,
possibly making plans to send in special teams to discover what
happened. Unless the fascists had covered up his disappearance
somehow.

He groaned as his stomach rolled and he lunged to the toilet to heave
up what little contents that had been in his belly. 'Must be morning
if I'm having morning sickness'. He thought as he shuddered and wiped
his mouth with the back of his sleeve.

He slid back against the wall and closed his eyes against the pain
and heartache deep within his chest. One thing about falling in love
with Clark Kent was that he was susceptible to feelings that weren't
really helping him now. Such as him wishing reverently that Clark was
here to beat the crap out of these shit faced jerks and take him home
to a long, warm bath, and get him food. Lots of it.

He was visited with the last image he'd seen of Clark and his
babies. Clark's head had been bent forward with the force of little 5-
year-old Kel's bounces on his shoulders, both waving enthusiastically
after him. Well Clark did it as well as he could while holding onto
Kel and making sure the stroller that held Sage (who had just turned
3) sleeping within it didn't roll away. Clark had looked up and said
something to Kel who turned to Lex, blew him a kiss and screamed 'bye
mommy! I love you!' at the top of his lungs while waving frantically.
He smiled at the precious memory and buried it deep in his chest to
draw out when things got rough again.

He was hit with another bout of nausea and cursed Clark in
his head as he was back on his knees dry heaving into the toilet
bowl. He scowled darkly when the heaves stopped and let loose a
colorful string of curses once again, this time out loud.

'The alien freak got me pregnant again.' He pouted and sniffled,
thinking that this was not fair in the least. He was tired, hungry,
in pain, and ached all over.

'And pregnant cause stupid Jor-El's projections were wrong!' He
remembered the day Clark and he had gone to Jor-El to ask him about
the eggs within Lex. Jor-El had said they would dispense until
fertilized, and over time they would naturally be dispelled
permanently when Lex went through something that sounded vaguely like
a human woman going through menopause. Lex had been disappointed,
since he didn't intend to let Clark get him pregnant one last time,
and had insisted on Clark getting some type of surgery to remove
his 'fertilizing powers.' Jor-El had promptly told them that there
was no such procedure for Kryptonian males.

But then they had discovered that after a birth, the mother was
unable to bare children for an extended period of time. For Lex he
had approximated 6 years. Ended up that it was only for two, almost
three after Kel, and three after Sage. Though maybe he couldn't blame
Clark entirely since he should have caught on after Sage had been
born. To his surprise and mortification one evening after a serious
deep fuck from Clark, he had been hit with that 'open' feeling and
they went to Jor-El the next day from Lex's insisting. And sure
enough his instincts were correct. He was pregnant...Again.

He groaned softly as his body let him know exactly what it was
feeling no matter how much he tried to ignore it with random thoughts.

The only door to the cell suddenly swung open and two shadows were
cast before one moved in swiftly. His arm was grabbed and he was
hauled up and dragged out of the room and blindfolded before being
led down what seemed to be a wide hallway by the echoes of their
steps. He stumbled several times, a weak feeling pervading about him
as he was forced to move briskly after so much abusive treatment.

They finally stopped and a door opened, which Lex was pulled through
and shoved harshly. He flailed and tried to keep his balance but fell
hard and landed in scattered cushions. The blindfold was ripped off
of him and he blinked rapidly against the brightly lit room. After
several minutes his eyes adjusted and he was able to make out his
surroundings. In front of him was a large table packed with food.
Across the table was a man sipping from a goblet slowly, studying Lex
with intense eyes.

"Mr. Luthor. It is a pleasure to finally receive you here. It's a
shame that you resisted for so long, when all I wanted to do is talk
to the Chief of Diplomacy. Your President has an attitude problem,
and him not granting me an audience was just a disturbing lack of
manners. Don't you agree?"

Lex just gritted his teeth and swayed slightly in his position of
half recline on the cushions. "Mr...?

"You may call me Mr. Rights."

"Mr. Rights, as you may well know this isn't the way to get anyone's
attention in a positive light. I am a valued member of my government
and this abduction will be taken as an offensive gesture."

"Well you see Mr. Luthor," he said as he leaned close towards
Lex, "That is why 'you' are going to make things happen
for 'me'...Otherwise you may never see your lovely children, and mate
again."

Clark had finally gotten Kel to fall into an exhausted, troubled
sleep that had Clark up to his room two times to sooth him after bad
dreams. Each time he had asked with his adorable precious voice about
his Mommy, and Clark had only been able to answer that he would do
whatever he could to get Mommy back. Seeming to be satisfied with his
answer he had gone back to sleep, and Clark hoped it was an
undisturbed one for the rest of the night. Sage had been placed in
bed as well and slept for the mean time.

He went downstairs again and watched his parents as they sat in the
informal dining room, heads bent close together hands clasped. Once
they had been notified that Lex hadn't checked in at his usual time,
Clark had called them upset. He felt bad if it was a false alarm, but
was glad that his parents were here for him and the kids.

When Martha had seen Clark when they had arrived earlier, she had
instantly taken the kids from his arms and distracted them, as Jon
guided Clark to a chair and sat him down. He had buried his head in
his hands and concentrated on breathing until he heard from the
official that had phoned him.

He returned to the table and sat opposite them, all of them waiting
for news from the government. They all jumped as the phone rang and
Clark was there instantly picking up the phone with a rushed hello
uttered into it.

"Mr. Kent?"

"This is he."

"I'm sorry sir, but Mr. Luthor has yet to call in, and we recently
found one of the aides that had been accompanying him. He said he was
let go with the message to tell the President that he has The Chief
of Diplomacy and that he wanted to talk. That's all we have, but
we'll be sure to keep you informed sir."

"Well I won't be here, but will you call to appraise my parents of
the situation when you receive news?"

"Yes Mr. Kent, but may I ask where you will be?" Secretary of State
McDougal sounded apprehensive since he knew all about Lex Luthor, and
Clark Kent's stubborn streak. Lex himself had fostered several
migraines in men of office with his stubbornness and he could just
imagine how bad Mr. Kent had to be to get his way in the face of a
Luthor.

"I think it's time that I went and did some covering of Hungary."

Lex sat on the feather down bed, freshly bathed, and provided with
clean clothes. Which consisted of a long dark purple robe, silk black
pants, and a black vest. He studied the lavish room, with a four
poster bed, and pillows placed all over the bed in a tantalizing
spread. One that he wanted to mess up seriously with his body hitting
them in sleep. The dcor was that of the orient, and glass covered
expensive paintings (he would know) hung from the walls.

But he didn't have time to study any longer for he had a meal to eat
with Mr. Rights. The door to his room opened and he followed the
sentry out to the dining hall, having made a pact with them not to
manhandle him if he listened to their argument.

Women in almost the same getup he was, though theirs were see-through
without the robe, surrounded Mr. Rights.

Rights looked up and watched him enter with a strange gleam. Two
other men were sitting on his side of the table. One had a dark
complexion, and was hard looking with a scar that traveled from the
side of his right eye, down and across to the left of his jaw. The
other was a demur Asian man with glasses.

"Mr. Luthor its good to see you in better shape. I really am quite
sorry for the force that was necessary to withhold you. The
descriptions of your presence weren't exaggerated I'm glad to see,
now that your presentable. Let me introduce you to Hero Takashi, and
Hussi Mocil. Please join us. We have much to discuss."
