Drakengard
The latest from Square-Enix

Let me start this review off by saying Drakengard features some of the best CG in gaming history.  This is what you expect from a company as great as Square Enix.  However, when you pick up the controller and start playing you won't be quite as impressed.  If you are familiar with Dynasty Warriors or Panzar Dragon then you feel right at home.  Drakengard takes both games and combines them into one unique game you either love or hate.  In Drakengard you play as Caim, a man with nothing but rage in his heart, and a Dragon who forms a pact with Caim.  Together they wreck havock to the Empire in bloody epic battles.  As Caim you take on hundreds of soilders, demons, and guards with ease.  You are not alone on the battlefield as you have your Dragon to help you out with aerial attacks.  Sounds cool right?  Well that is all there is to the game.  You can slash through hords of enemies or just take them out with your Dragon.  There is a story and it is interesting enough to get you to play through the whole game.  After awhile the game does get old, but if you don't mind doing the same thing over and over than this game is for you.  Especially with its high replay value you can't go wrong.
