After being on the air for five years The WB has laid to rest one of its best series.  Dispite the amount of protest to the cancellation of this show, The WB went ahead and axed it.  I am pretty sure the entire Angel staff is dissappointed that there show is over.  There is still so many unanswered questions on Angel which leads me to believe another network picked it up.  So how exactly did this great series end?  Well I am about to tell you in Gaming Networks first series review.

Angel was a spinoff of the buffy the vampire slayer series.  Angel's series began as a action show about a vampire cursed with a soul.  He would go around helping saving peopls lives in L.A. from demons.  After a while he gets help from several other people with the same goals in mind.  It started off with just Angel, Cordelia, and Doyle.  Doyle gets killed off and Wesley (one of the watchers from Buffy) takes his place.  Shortly after they get the help of a demon that could tell if someone was evil is they sang for him.  A little after him they get gunn who is a expert at slaying demons.  The next to last member they get is Spike (who was a villian in Buffy the vampire slayer, and a enemy in the begining of Angel) who is a vampire with a soul like Angel.  Together they stopped evil  countless times.  The bad guys of this series was  a law firm called Wolfram and Hart.  Near the end of Angel, Angel  becomes the boss of the L.A. Wolfram and Hart.  They thought they could help people better with the amount of resources at there finger tips.  They were wrong, and they soon realized that Wolfram and Hart must be taken down.  Angel comes up with plan to put fear into Wolfram and Hart, at the cost of all of there lives.  Everyone agrees to help Angel, but one character gets killed off, and that character was Wesley (he was not the only character to die during the Angel series).  The final scene in Angel takes place in a alley in which all of the surviving members meet there.  All sorts of demons come out of no where and the last sentence in Angel went likes this:  "All right guys,  lets get to work!"  Then the credits come on..which was  dissappointed because I expected clousure.  Only time will tell if there is ever a spinoff of Angel.
