| I met Leann in our 8th grade year at SSMS. She was mostly quiet and we weren't really close at the time. We talked every now and then, and acknoledged eachother's existance. On the first day of our Freshmen year, we found that we had the same ROTC and English classes. From that day on, we became great friends. Leann convinced me into joining the drill team and I was too ignorant to realize that fun would be on the way, and I left. Leann countinued to tell me the fun of drill, and once again convinced me to join. This time I stayed. Leann and I became drill and P.T. buddies. We did everything in ROTC together. She helped me with work and always brightened my every day. She was a very sweet girl and I never have know anyone even a little close to her personality. I will never forget the field meets that we attended, the long bus rides in the wee hours of the morning, and the shoe shining competions. I remember the constant laughter at drill practice and Leann always smiling. She truley made life easier and better in every way. I will never forget the best friend I ever had, Leann. |
