In 1954 a major cult icon was unleashed upon the world and the monsters of cinema had a new ruler. Gojira, or Godzilla as he's known here in the states, was oridinally a symbol for the horrors of the atomic bomb, but as time went on, he became a symbol of endless sequels and rousing entertainment.
