PAKISTAN HOMEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN PROMOTES IODIZED SALT
Pakistan homeopathic physician promotes iodized salt - The Pakistan
Iodized Salt Support Facility worked in collaboration with Dr. Sarfaraz Ali, a
homeopathic physician at Chiniot, in Jhang district, by organizing a free medical camp
to treat goitrous patients from a small village in the district. Dr. Sarfaraz is locally
famous for treating goiter in the region and strongly advocates the use of iodized salt.
A local salt processor also participated in the organization of the camp and distributed
free iodized salt packages to promote his brand of salt. The ISSF plans to hold
regular medical camps similar to this.
