Mica was NAVHDA Natural Ability tested at 9 months old, earning a maximum score of 112 a Prize 1.
I watched her run her test in Baker City Oregon. She was very impressive in her use of nose, pointing, quartering during her search, and has a very smooth athletic run. This was Zack's first test, and let Mica just do what her basic instincts told her. One of the nicest young dogs I have seen with very little exposure to this testing situation.
She is very handsome with a solid dark head, nice facial furnishings, short tight coat and with her belly also fully coated with hair.
I had Mica for a week and her disposition with me, and my other animals I have was also impressive. She is very friendly, loves attention. Out in the field she is all business. I took her out the first day on some birds and she found them in a very short time. Mica is built to hunt all day. She has tough feet, and can cover a lot of ground. She pointed the birds just like in the bottom picture. She weighs 52 pounds, and is 23 inches tall. In the pictures Mica is pointing my wife's kittens, that came over to meet her. I had just taken her out of my pickup from picking her up from Montana.
