Inuyasha Information
InuYasha, is the main character of the anime who happens to have the
same name (surprise, surprise), is an arrogant and hard-headed half-demon
who trying to bring together all the pieces of the magical Shikon Jewel in
hopes of transforming himself into a full-fledged demon with the purpose of
destroying Naraku and the other demons who terrorize his world. He doesn't
search for the shards alone - Kagome Higurashi, a high school student, is
transported into feudal Japan where InuYasha resides when she falls into a well
in an ancient temple. Together they seek for the missing pieces of this gem
which can cause destruction if it happens to fall into the wrong hands. Others
traveling with InuYasha and Kagome are Shippo, a young shapeshifting fox
demon, Miroku a lecherous priest who bears a wind tunnel in his right hand as a
curse from Naraku. Kaede, Kikyo's younger sister and now an old priestess, was
with them for a while. They have recently met up with Sango, the last of a tribe
of demon hunters, and Myoga, InuYasha's flea-like servant.
