Dragon Ball Information
The first DragonBall episode aired in Japan on February 26, 1986 and would
air every Wednesday at 7 pm on the Fuji Television network, people instantly
loved the series, since when the Dragon Ball Anime started airing, the Manga
was only up to about chapter 50, Toei Animation created several story arcs and
side stories to allow more chapters of the manga to be finished so the Anime
wouldn't surpass the story of the manga. Dragon Ball is a story about a boy
name Goku who fell to Earth from a planet called Vegeta Goku was always
cheerfull and hungry he teamed up with a whiny side-kick name Blma, they
traveled the world in search of the mystical 7 Dragon Balls which could grant
them one fist. Goku and Bulma met many friends and enemies on their
journies, they met charcters like Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Oolong, Piccalo,Turtle
Master Master Roshi. They all started out as enemies but progressed to friends
who saved the Earth many times. Dragon Ball ended with a total of 153
episodes and 3 movies.
Dragon Ball Z Information
Dragon Ball Z is the Sequal to a very popular japanese anime called Dragon
Ball. DBZ was aimed for a teenage audience. Fighting and a more serious
storyline replaced comedy, but humor still exists in some parts of the series.
Dragonball Z was the last line of DragonBall series that Akira Toriyama
produced. In DBZ Goku is married to Chi-Chi and has a son named Gohan,
later he will have another son name Goten. Almost all the characters from the
original DB are in DBZ, but much of them arent as important, like Yamcha and
Tien, but they still appear. DBZ revolves around Goku and Z-Fighters who save
the Earth many times from enemies such as Vegeta (later becomes a friend),
Dr. Gero, Buu, and Cell. The story began when Raditz gokus brother comes to
destroy the Earth, he kidnaps Gohan and Goku and Piccalo join forces to
extermanete him. After that Prince Vegeta along with Nappa come to finish the
job of destroying the Earth. Nappa is badly hurt by Gohan and Vegeta finished
Nappa. Goku beats up Vegeta and lets him leave. The last saga of DBZ is the
Buu saga. During the time of Dragonball Z, 13 movies have been released. In
addition, there are 2 TV specials (Bardock Story and Trunks Story), and 1 OVA
TV special based on a RPG game. DBZ made millions of fans.
Dragon Ball GT Information
Dragonball GT is the sequal to a very popular anime called DragonBall Z.
DBGT was never supposed to be made, the creator of Db and DBZ Akira
Toriyama lost interest in DB. People think that DBGT was made to keep people
interested in DB until the game Dragon Ball Final Bout was released. DBGT was
not headed by Akira Toriyama. DBGT got its GT from Grand Tour symbolizing
the journey of our heors thru space in search for the Black Star Dragonballs.
People were unsatisfied with DBGT, but in the later episodes it would become
more popular. GT is started when a evil charcter named Pilaf accidently wishes
Goku was a kid, he used the Black Star Dragonballs which would destroy the
Earth if they werent united on the same planet that they were used on. GT is
moslty centered around Goku. There is one Dragonball GT TV special. This
special (first aired 3-26-97) is about Gokou Jr. in a setting 100 years later. It
tells about Gokou Jr.'s acknowlegement of courage in his quest to find the
dragonballs to save his ill grandmother, Pan, I liked it very much it was weird to
see that all the original charcters except for pan were dead.
