Gohan is the son of Chichi and Goku. He is half human, half Saiyan. Because he half and half, he is stronger than either a pure human, or pure saiyan. Also the fact that both of his parents were excellent fighters helped make him more powerful than the rest. Gohan has phenominal power that he releases when he gets angry. At the age of five and a half, he went off to train with Piccolo, to defend the world from the Saiyans. At first Gohan was nervous about fighting, but as he grew older he became more confident in his abilities. His anger is his true source of power, and he only truly gets angry when his friends or family are in danger. He was the youngest to become a Super Saiyan before Chibi Trunks and Goten were born.. He achieved it for the first time in the Training Room of Spirit and Time when he realised he was too dependent on everyone else. During the Cell Games, Gohan's true power surfaced and he became the first to go Super Saiyan x2. Gohan defeated Cell by using an awesome Kamehameha, but Mr. Satan took the credit. Seven years after the Cell Games, Gohan was at high school. He had trouble hiding the fact that he was incredibly powerful. He started to help fight against the criminals in the city and became known as the Golden Haired Warrior, because he turned SSJ when he fought. Gohan decided to fight against crime in the city full time, but wanted his identity to remain secret, so he went to Bulma for his transformation device. So he took on the responsibility of being Satan City's defender, The Great Saiyan Man! While at high school, Gohan met his girl friend and future wife, Videl, Mr. Satan's daughter. Things slid into a somewhat peaceful everyday rhyme, until the great Martial Arts Tournament resurfaced. Gohan, of course, entered, but when his turn came, instead of fighting him, his opponent used a device and stole his great power. After observing all this Kaioushin ran out to help, and told him about a horrific new enemy: Majin Buu. The whole gang took off to fight this new threat, but he proved too much for Gohan. After a horrific fight, Gohan, near death, is taken to the Kaioushin's planet. There he trains and does something that no one else could, he pulls out the legendary Kaioushin sword. Using the sword to train, he became incredibly strong. While testing the sword to see if it was truly made of the strongest metal in the world, Gohan broke it and released an ancient Kaioushin King, who gave Gohan more power than anyone could ever dream of. Gohan eventually returned to Earth to fight Buu, but wasn't the one to take the glory for saving the Earth (He never gets any credit, stupid Goku...). Gohan and Videl eventually married, and together they had a baby girl whom they called Pan. |
