A Forbidden Past - Chapter 6
Another Storm?

Stacie carried all of her books upstairs while Trunks raided the fridge. He soon followed upstairs with a drink for himself and Stacie. "Here you go," he said as he handed the drink off to her.

"Thanks," she smiled still thinking of what happened in the forest. "Hey Trunks? Why exactly did you push Heather away from you in the forest? You are the only guy at the highschool who would do that! She's the most popular and attractive girl at our school, and not everyone has a chance with her."

"She acts so fake. Its obvious. The only reason she was all over me was because she saw the way you acted around me. I was watching the way she's been treating you, throwing eggs at you, cutting up your jacket. I didn't like it at all. As soon as she started being friendly with me, it was obvious she couldn't stand the fact you had a friend." Stacie stared blankly at Trunks, not knowing how to respond to what he just said. "Come on! Let's get started on this homework, so we can enjoy the rest of the evening!" said Trunks.

"Oh, yea okay," said Stacie, still not completely focused.

Within about 45 minutes, both had completed their homework, Stacie helping him along the way. Stacie jumped off the bed while Trunks sat there staring at her. "Ok, are you hungry?" asked Stacie.

"You bet I am!"

"Okay, stay up here and I'll cook up an awesome meal then."

"You don't have to do that," Trunks said.

"Yes I do. You've made me so happy! The way you acted against Heather, well, I can't explain in words how I feel," she said, practically reducing to tears.

"Don't worry about it! Its not that big a deal," he laughed

"Well, to me it is! Oh yea, and Trunks..." she stopped mid-sentence, walked over infront of Trunks, wrapped her arms around his neck, and gave the most passionate kiss to Trunks. It basically released all the emotions that Stacie couldn't explain with words. Trunks turned a bright shade of red as their lips separated. Stacie winked as she walked to the top of the stairs.

"Oh Stacie?" called Trunks, still sitting on the bed.

"Yea?" she said happily.

"I must say, you are a much better kisser than Heather," he smiled.

"Oh, thanks." Stacie said with not much emotion. She walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen where she screamed loudly with joy. Trunks snickered, folded his hands behind his head, and layed back onto the bed.

"I really wish I could stay here forever. I make Stacie so happy, but my future depends on it. But wait, if this is the future world, without Goku receiving the medicine, someone must of defeated the androids, right? If I go back and change the past, what will happen to Stacie's world? Man, this is so confusing. According to Stacie, this is all a television series with the exception of me coming to the future. So maybe its my destiny to go into the past and try and change the future. I'm sure since its already been written, it will not change because of my actions. Wow, I really hope I make the right decisions." Trunks sighed as he closed his eyes lying on the bed.

Stacie was cooking up a wonderful meal for Trunks. She took a guess and hoped that he would like spaghetti, the only thing Stacie could cook that didn't come in a can. "Mmm, I sure hope he likes this! It sure smells good."

Still lying on the bed, Trunks could smell the food. "Hey Stacie, it smells great! When do we eat?" he yelled.

"In a couple minutes!"

His stomach was grumbling so he needed to move around to try and forget about it. He went over to the bay window where he saw Heather walking down the street, still yelling at her friends as they pointed to the house. Heather obviously didn't notice Trunks sitting in the bay window. "I can't believe you guys let her go! Trunks was all mine, until you idiots let Stacie get away. Man, he's a great kisser and has an amazing body! Did you see the size of his arms? MY GOD! I will get him away from Stacie, she doesn't deserve someone as good as him. That stupid bitch smacked my nose. I will get her back, and I'll do it by taking Trunks away from her!" she laughed.

"She doesn't give up does she?" Trunks said to himself. "I mean, she seems like a nice girl, but her intentions are all wrong."

Just then, Stacie came running upstairs. "Are you coming? I've been calling you for the last 5 minutes!"

"Oh, sorry I wasn't paying attention. I've just been thinking about everything," he said.

"Such as?" asked Stacie, a little worried.

"Is there any need for me to give the medicine to Goku? If this is the future world, someone obviously beats the androids right? And if everything is still here, the world must be at peace, with out me having to change the past. But if it happens on the series, will it change that as well? You seem happy, but if I change the past, what will happen to this world?"

Stacie stared blankly for a moment. "I feel you should go back and continue the already determined course of time. As much as I would like you to stay, the plot is that you give the medicine to Goku. I'd love to have you stay, with me, forever," Stacie said as the tears started flowing down her face, "but you have to go and not alter the plot line or who knows what might happen. I wish you and me could stay together, forever..."

"So do I," added in Trunks.

"But you have to go into the past. I'm not sure how long until you have to, but as long as you do, history should write itself out ok." Stacie sat down on the floor, sobbing.

Trunks walked up to her and lifted her to her feet with ease. "Don't worry! Who knows when my machine will be working again! While I'm here, don't think about me leaving, think about the time we will be spending together. Hey, hey look at me," Trunks said as he lifted her face up with his hand. "Don't worry! I will spend all my time here with you, and I'm sure once I complete all the tasks at hand, I won't be needed and I will return to you, but I'm here now, so lets enjoy our time together." He ran his fingers through her hair and then wiped the tears away from her eyes. He rested his hands on her shoulders as she calmed down.

"The food is getting cold," she said quitely. Trunks had completely forgot about his hungry stomach for the moment. He slowly moved his hands down Stacie's back and onto her hips, embracing her. Stacie put her arms around his neck and stared deep into his eyes. She slid her hands down his chest, feeling his well defined muscles, and rested her hands on his butt. Trunks leaned in, wrapped his arms right around Stacie, and started to kiss her. As the two were kissing each other passionately, the phone rang. Stacie let out a huge sigh, interrupted the kiss, and went over to answer the phone.

"Hello? Oh, hi Carol. You don't need me to work for the rest of the week? Why? Oh my hand? Oh, its nothing, I just sprained it and spilt some coffee on it. Are you sure? Aww thank you so much Carol! I really appreciate it! Bye!" Stacie hung up the phone. "YES! I DON'T HAVE TO WORK FOR A WHOLE WEEK! I'm actually thankful I hurt my wrist now!" she rejoiced as she jumped up and down.

"Whoa calm down!" laughed Trunks. Stacie walked up to Trunks and gave him a nice kiss on the cheek.

"Come on down, we have to eat! We'll finish this later," she said as she winked at Trunks.

Trunks blushed and then charged downstairs to get the food. "Damnit he's sexy!" Stacie thought to herself as she stared at his butt heading downstairs.

Both Stacie and Trunks quickly ate there food. "Wow, that was the best meal I've had in a long time, Stace, thanks a ton!"

"It was no problem! Now, we have to do something about your clothes. You can't keep wearing the same thing to school and to bed every night! I'm sure I can find some clothes around. My mom is a fashion designer so she leaves clothes all over the place. Ah, here we go!" Stacie raided the closet and pulls out a couple hawaiian shirts, tank tops, cargo pants, boxers, and a pair of long plaid pants.

Trunks, was quite amazed at the colours of the clothing. "People seriously wear this in public?" he said.

Stacie laughed. "Yup! People usually wear the hawaiian shirts over a tank top in public while they sleep in the plaid pants. They should all fit. Go ahead and try anything on if you feel like it."

"Okay," Trunks said as he went into the bathroom to change. He came out wearing a bright orange hawaiian shirt, white tank top, and a pair of cargo shorts.

"Hehe! You look so cute!" Stacie laughed.

"I feel so weird!" he said with a grin on his face. "Okay, I'll wear this tomorrow." He went back into the bathroom and came out wearing his usual pants, tank top, jacket, and belt. "So, what are we going to do tonight?" he asked Stacie.

"I don't know. I usually just stay at home and relax because I have no one to go out with. Anything in particular you want to do?"

"I don't know. If I was in my time, I'd be too busy fighting the androids to relax. We could watch one of your movies if you want."

"Well we can't exactly watch anything Dragon Ball related because I don't want to upset the plot line. We could watch Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon," she suggested.

"Okay, that sounds good."

Trunks followed Stacie downstairs as she carried Sailor Moon R: The Movie to the back room. Stacie and Trunks sat down at opposite ends of the couch. The movie started, and Trunks seemed really interested. He didn't seem to notice Stacie slowly creeping towards him. Soon, Stacie was lying along beside Trunks, resting in his arms.

"Oh Trunks, you don't know how many times I dreamed I was lying in your arms, and now its really happening!" she said with a huge smile.

Trunks just smiled back at her and held her hand tight. After about an hour, the movie ended. "Wow, that was cool! Is there anybody around here who has powers like that?" he asked Stacie.

"Nope, its all fiction. None of it is real."

"Oh, so no one can fly, like this?" he said as he hovered slightly above the ground.

"My god, I forgot you could do that! Hey! I got a crazy idea! Take me flying! I want to feel the wind blowing through my hair high in the sky!" she said already excited.

"You want to try it?" he grinned.

"Yea! PLEASE!" she begged.

"Okay, I'll take you flying!"

"WOOHOO!" she screamed.

"But, we have to wait until it gets a bit darker. We don't want people to see us do we?" he said looking out at the sky.

"Hmm. I guess you're right. Wow, I'm so excited!" She walked up beside Trunks and looked up to the sky as the sun was slowly fading. Trunks wrapped his arm around her waist and held her tight. Stacie sighed as she leaned back against Trunks. "I've only known you for a day and a half, and I feel so attached to you." A single tear rolled down Stacie's face and fell onto the floor.

"Don't be sad! I'm still here holding you," he said, trying to cheer her up. She started bawling as she turned around, burying her face in Trunks chest.

"I don't want you to leave me! I've never had a friend before in my life and its the most wonderful feeling in the world. I know you're going to be leaving soon but I don't want you to!" she sobbed.

"Stacie, be happy! I haven't left you and I don't know when I am leaving. We have to enjoy the time we have together and make it a time we will never forget." She lifted her head up and looked at him. She wrapped her arms around him. He gave her a kiss on the lips as he picked her legs up in his arms and started hovering above the floor.

"WHOA!" she said not expecting the weird feeling. Trunks grinned as he hovered over to the back door, opened it up, and floated outside.

"Are you ready for this?" he asked her.

"I hope so!" she said as she swallowed nervously.

"Okay then, here we GO!" he said as he took off high into the sky with Stacie in his arms. Stacie shrieked as they went higher into the sky.

"Oh my god, this is so cool!" she said as she peered down on the lights of the city.

Trunks laughed as he quickly dove down towards the Earth. "AAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Stacie screamed as Trunks pulled up and coasted high into the sky. "Don't do that! You scared the shit out of me!" she said playfully hitting Trunks. "Don't worry Stacie. I'd never do anything to harm you," he said smiling as the moon shone down on them.

"Oh, Trunks," she sighed as they stopped in the middle of the sky. Trunks bent over and kissed Stacie passionately. His hands supported Stacie's head and legs while her hands roamed over his neck. Stacie suddenly jumped as a clap of thunder roared in the distance. She looked around to see lightning flashing far in the west. "Trunks, would you mind if we uh.. went back home now? It looks likes there umm.. might.. umm.. be a storm coming soon and I really don't want to be high in the sky as it approaches!" she said.

"Okay, I understand," he said as he slowly flew back to the house. The time was soon approaching midnight and Stacie was feeling a bit tired. She fell asleep in his arms with a big smile on her face. "Such a beautiful girl," he said as the moon reflected off of her face. He brushed the hair out of her face as the moon slowly became covered by clouds. "Stacie was right about the rain. I better hurry up. I don't want her to get soaking wet!" As soon as he said that, it started to rain. He managed to slip off his jacket and cover Stacie to protect her from the rain while he got soaked. They arrived back at her house. Trunks carried the sleeping Stacie upstairs and rested her on her bed. He was soaking wet so he went to the bathroom to change. Stacie woke up to find herself alone in her room while it rained outside.

"Mmmm, where am I?" She looked around and noticed she was wearing Trunks jacket. While in the bathroom, Trunks took his soaking wet tank top and pants off as well as his partially wet boxers and jumped into the long plaid pants to sleep in. While she was alone, Stacie jumped out of her clothes and into her DBZ boxers and short Hello Kitty! t-shirt, showing her extremely fit mid-section. Trunks, still thinking Stacie would be asleep, walked in with only the plaid pants on, while he hung the rest of his wet clothes in the shower to drip dry. He saw Stacie sitting up in bed with her boxers and small t-shirt.

"Oh!" Trunks immediately went red. "I'm so sorry! I thought you were asleep. I was just going to grab a pillow and go sleep downstairs so I came in here and..."

"Don't worry about it! Its not like you didn't walk out of the bedroom with a towel and boxers on this morning."

"Oh yea thats right," he chuckled. "Hand me a pillow please?" Just then, Stacie had an evil thought. She picked up the pillow and made the motion to hand it to Trunks, and smacked him over the head with it. "Hey, what was that for?!" he asked as Stacie bopped him again. "Right then, you're asking for it!" The next time Stacie swung, Trunks grabbed the pillow from her hands and proceeded in tickling her.

"AHHHAHAHA! STOP! AHA! STOP! I CAN'T BREATHE! HEHEHE!" she giggled. Suddenly, a flash of lightning illuminated the room. Stacie screamed. She immediately withdrew from the battle and plugged her ears. The loud boom of thunder shortly followed as Stacie whimpered. She crawled across the bed and snuck under the sheets. Trunks picked up the pillow off the floor and said goodnight to Stacie as lightning lit up the room again.

"Hey Trunks? Umm, would you actually sleep up here tonight? I really don't like being alone in thunderstorms."

"Sure! I don't mind at all!" he said as he walked over to lie in the bay window.

"Well, umm, do you want to share the bed with me? I know from experience that sleeping on the bay window isn't comfortable," she asked with a smile.

"Are you sure?" he said a little hesitantly.

"Yea, I don't mind."

"Okay, if you say so." Trunks walked over as Stacie pulled the sheets back for him. Trunks crawled into bed as Stacie and he both lay on their backs staring at the ceiling. The room kept being temporarily illuminated as the lightning constantly flickered outside. A bolt flashed right over head as the thunder cracked open the sky. Stacie pulled the covers up over her head and plugged her ears until the rumble ceased. The clocks in Stacie's room turned off as the power went on and off. The lightning was almost constant as the intermitent thunder turned into a continuous roar.

"This weather is crazy!" Stacie yelled over the deafening thunder. She grabbed the TV remote and turned it on to the weather station.

"... I repeat, tornado watches and warnings have been issued for the entire Yorketon county. Anyone living in the area is advised to move to the center part of a house or a basement..." The TV cut off as the power went out yet again.

"OH MY GOD! THAT'S OUR AREA!" Stacie shot out of bed as Trunks followed her downstairs. She opened the front door and stepped out onto the front porch to see what the conditions were like.

"GET DOWN!" Trunks yelled as he covered Stacie to the floor of the porch as a piece of sheet metal went flying over her head.

"AAH!" Stacie screamed. Trunks picked her up and carried her inside. "Lets go downstairs into the spare bedroom. Its a small room in the center of the basement, so it should be the safest spot in the house." Stacie ran to the kitchen and grabbed a candle and some matches. Both Trunks and Stacie sprinted downstairs into the small bedroom with a single bed. She lit the candle and placed in on a small table in the corner of the bedroom.

"Go ahead and get into the bed," Trunks told Stacie.

"Where will you go then?" she asked.

"I'll stand guard," he said panting a little.

"No, if you won't protect yourself, I won't either!" she said not moving anywhere towards the bed. Trunks walked up to Stacie and put his arms on her sides.

"I'm doing this for you safety, don't worry about me!" Trunks yelled.

"No! The bed is big enough for the both of us. I'd feel a lot safer you were close to me rather than you guarding the door," she said wrapping her arms around his waist. Stacie walked along towards to bed pulling Trunks hesitantly by his hand. Stacie jumped into the bed as the roaring continued outside. Trunks got into the bed after her and embraced her tightly.

"Since I can't protect you at the door, I'll have to do it here," he smiled.

"How are we going to wake up for school tomorrow? All the power is going to be out because of the storm!" she said.

"Well, I assume the school will be somewhat lenient and understand the situation. If not, I'll have to show them a thing or two," he laughed.

Stacie giggled as the roaring became louder. "Oh man, I'm gonna die!" Stacie said as the tears streamed down her face.

"No you won't! As long as I'm here protecting you, you won't be dying!" Trunks said as he brushed the hair out of her face. His hands slowly rubbed her bare mid-section to try and relax her. She sighed and closed her eyes trying to calm down. Trunks slowly brought his hand up her side and along her t-shirt. He caressed her pretty face and gave her a kiss on the lips. Suddenly, a gust of wind entered through a broken basement window and blew the bedroom door wide open. Stacie shrieked in terror while Trunks wrapped his arms over Stacie. The candle blew out and left Trunks and Stacie in the darkness as the fierce storm continued outside.
